Reflections on Shabat! The 28 April 2023

May our heart be as pure white as a magnolia flower and may it always be cleansed by the holy blood of our Savior, Yeshua the Messiah, from all sin and lawlessness!

We are constantly being watched from heaven!

Already in ancient times, the patriarch Job knew it when he was in the most severe test of his life. He then said to his Creator under his great pains: Job 7:17-19

>>
17 What is man, that you should magnify him, That you should set your mind on him, 18 That you should visit him every morning, And test him every moment? 19 How long will you not look away from me, Nor leave me alone until I swallow down my spittle?<<

We notice at the end of the book of Job how much Yehowah loved Job and that's why he tested him in the furnace of suffering to get to know what Job really thought about him and how he reacts when he experiences such constant torture for which he did not understand any reason!

Yehowah knew that Job did not know him as the Almighty and Omnipotent Creator who loves all his creatures. At last Job came to know him as such, and his hard fate was turned into abundantly blessed!

Are you under a lot of anxiety right now?

Just as our Savior had to suffer innocently when redeeming us from the power of sin and death, so we too are tested in the furnaces of suffering. The reasons why we are tested are certainly different from why Yeshua the Messiah was tested. Those reasons include, for example, the following:

1. Peter 1:6-9
>>
6 Wherein you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been put to grief in various trials, 7 that the proof of your faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes even though it is tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Yeshua HaMashich—

8 whom not having known you love; in whom, though now you don’t see him, yet believing, you rejoice greatly with joy unspeakable and full of glory— 9 receiving the result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
<<

 2. Thess. 1:3-7
>>
3 We are bound to always give thanks to Elohim for you, brothers, [The word for “brothers” here and where context allows may also be correctly translated “brothers and sisters” or “siblings.”] even as it is appropriate, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each and every one of you towards one another abounds; 4 so that we ourselves boast about you in the assemblies of Elohim for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which you endure.

5 This is an obvious sign of the righteous judgment of Elohim, to the end that you may be counted worthy of the Kingdom of Elohim, for which you also suffer. 6 Since it is a righteous thing with Elohim to repay affliction to those who afflict you, 7 and to give relief to you that are afflicted with us, when Adonai Yeshua is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire.<<

Hebr. 2:10-13
>>
10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many children to glory, to make the Captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

11 For both he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one, for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brothers [The word for “brothers” here and where context allows may also be correctly translated “brothers and sisters” or “siblings.”],

12 saying, “I will declare your name to my brothers. In the midst of the congregation I will sing your praise.” 13 Again, “I will put my trust in him.” Again, “Behold, here am I and the children whom Elohim has given me.”<<

Your anxiety will end just in time!

In my youth I saw in a dream like a vision the process in which the human soul is purified in the fire of suffering for heaven. It was my soul. The process took quite a long time in the dream, but eventually my soul became snow white. I'm still in that process and I know it will end soon. The same will happen to your soul, so be patient.

Here is the link to that wonderful vision of mine:
https://leif-paulus-norrgard-a.blogspot.com/2023/04/nightly-vision-about-how-to-born-again.html

Ps. 138:8 David's prayer below was answered. You will be answered as well!
>>
Yehowah will fulfill that which concerns me; Your loving kindness, Yehowah, endures forever. Don’t forsake the works of your own hands!<<

Adonai Yeshua will never leave unfinished the good work he started during the new Covenant, but will complete it by the day of his coming for you as well.

1. Peter 5:10

>>
But may Elohim of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by HaMashiach Yeshua, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.<<

Have a safe mind! Time flies and with Yeshua the Messiah as our King: "The saints of the Most High will receive the Kingdom and hold it forever!" (Dan. 7:18)

Reflections on Shabat! The 21th April 2023

Global climate overview

In recent years, we have seen the rapid warming of the Earth's climate and extreme weather phenomena such as tornadoes, drought and excessive rain in many places. They have been very destructive to people and animals, especially in disaster areas.

We can have many different opinions about the causes of the phenomena, but at least it is certain that by abandoning the truths of the Bible, humanity has brought a curse upon itself, as the text at the top of the attached image warned Israel in ancient times. As the great apostasy continues to deepen and the number of sins of the nations begins to reach its full extent, the plagues also intensify.

I heard on the news today that there has been a big lack of rain in France, Spain and Italy. Without rains, the land cannot be cultivated and livestock cannot be raised, because there is not enough feed for them. It has not rained in Spain for about three (3) months and it is obvious that a state of emergency will be declared there in June at the latest. The Italian and French Alps have not had enough snow this past winter and therefore the level of Italy's largest river, the Po river, has dropped catastrophically.

Horrible heat is already coming to Southwest Europe a month earlier than normal. Together with a large influx of refugees, it leads to an uncontrollable situation, because all refugees must be helped at least in such a way that they do not drown in the Mediterranean Sea and after that investigate who are the real refugees and return only the social or standard of living refugees to their countries of origin.

What can we do in this situation?

We must repent in our lives and pray to Him, YHWH Elohim, who rules the weather and climates, to forgive us and our nations all our sins and transgressions and to give the fields rains in due season. Israel is also a good example for us here, because the coming of the rains at the appointed time depended on their obedience to the teachings, decrees and commands of YHWH Elohim. (Deut. 11:13-15)

>>13 And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the YHWH your Elohim, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul, 14 That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil. 15 And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full.<<

In addition, the following exhortation is still valid: Zech. 10:1

>>Ask ye of YHWH rain in the time of the latter rain; so YHWH shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.<<

I have previously told about a retired sea captain who prayed for about 2 months in advance by Adonai's command that it would not rain during the Siuntio Charisma Conference, but that the sun would shine. The inhabitants of that small village got to see a miracle: A large thundercloud front formed and during those three days heavy rain fell everywhere outside the meeting place, circling the meeting place where the sun was shining the whole time! The plants in the fields got enough water and believers filled in the power of the Holy Spirit!

Many farmers came to the Feast of Tabernacles for that very reason and accepted salvation with joy through faith in Yeshua the Messiah. A man I knew from before also came there. I was very happy about it! That incident also inspired me to pray for favorable weather if necessary. Adonai Yeshua's promise is still valid: John 15:7,16

>>
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you... 16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name*), he may give it you.<<  *)Yeshua

We notice above a clear condition for our prayers to be answered. If we do not meet those conditions, then there is no guarantee that our prayers will be answered. Sometimes, however, Adonai answers us, noticing that we are truly striving to compete and follow his teachings. That's why it's worth ALWAYS praying and waiting for answers. When we pray, it is important to pray with thanksgiving and always justify the reasons for our prayers.

I prayed for a mild winter in SW Finland

I have prayed that we would be spared from severe frosts, especially at night, because the price of electricity had been raised exceptionally high by speculation and many single-family houses heat their houses with electricity. If a normal winter had come here with severe night frosts, many detached houses would have been forced to sell. I prayed for mild weather every day since the beginning of the year and my prayers have been answered. Hallelujah!

I myself was not impoverished by the overpriced electricity, because I had made a very affordable electricity contract for two (2) years. It particularly affected agricultural and other entrepreneurs, and people living in electrically heated detached houses, because many of them have high electricity consumption and the price of electricity even multiplied! Agriculture in Finland has already been in a profitability crisis for years due to the high prices of fertilizers and livestock feed. In addition, because producer prices have been pushed too low.

Now I'm praying for rain in SW Finland

I've been praying for rain every day for a while now, because even though we got enough snow here during the winter, the last few weeks have been rainless and sunny. I believe Adonai also hears these daily prayers of mine as He promised. Although I am neither a farmer nor a cattle breeder, I pray for them and thus work for the best of my home region! And you: Do the same every day where ever you live!

It is wise to examine one's own heart before prayers and if there is something to be put away, it is important to confess sins and repent and bring the heart through faith to be cleansed by the blood of Adonai Yeshua!

Of course, I also pray daily for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all nations and especially on the people here in SW Finland!

According to the prophecies, times are only going to get worse

I have been saddened to see, during my long time in the faith, a continuous and deepening apostasy from the truths of the Bible. As a result, violence has increased in recent years, especially due to the immigration of subsistence refugees. That's why I see the sins of the time of Noah and Lot rampant in Finland as well, even though my nation has already been chosen as the happiest nation in the world for six years in a row.

As a true believer in Adonai Yeshua, I prefer that we should help real refugees, especially those who are persecuted in their country of residence because of their faith or ethnic background. They must get reasonable housing, a living, language training, adapt to society, that is, demand participation in working life according to their abilities.

There are already too much unemployed, job-avoiding and lazybones in Finland, and we don't need any more of them through negative immigration!

Let's prepare for the coming tribulations!

It is only positive that the Almighty in his mercy has allowed the tribulations to only gradually increase, even though he could have put those two witnesses mentioned in the attached picture to work long ago in such a way that they would have declared the beginning of a 3.5-year universal drought! Even one year without rain would lead to an estimated death of over a billion people from starvation.

How can we prepare ourselves for famine? It is wise to keep a supply of food at home for about a month, if you can afford it. It is worth buying dry food and versatile well-preserved food and water. It's worth it already for the reason that food prices rise by about 6...10% a year and wages rise less!

Can't you afford to buy food in case of famine(?) In that case, learn to trust the help of the Most High, because your spirit is more than food and your body is more than clothes. (You have received your spirit and body as a gift.) Our Father's Prayer is one of the greatest gifts from Adonai Yeshua just in case of famine, as well as for all kinds of distress, persecution and anxiety!

You perhaps ask, why do I tell people to store food for a month? I do it because only a few people really believe that the prayer of the Our Father's Prayer really works in practic. It is therefore better for them to learn about food storage than to starve to death because of their unbelief!

Our Father's Prayer (My Version)

Dear Father, I approach you in the name of Yeshua HaMashiach,
cleansed by his blood and anointed with his Holy Spirit:

My dear Father, YeHoWa(H) Elohim, who art in heavens.
Hallowed be Your Name, let Your Kingdom come
and let Your will be done on earth as it is in heavens!

Give me enough nourishment today and forgive me
all my sins and debts, as I also forgive those who have
transgressed against me!

Lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from the evil one
and
from his accomplices, for Thine is the Kingdom,
the power and the glory forever! Amen.

Reflections on Shabat! The 14th April 2023

Important prompts!

Social channels spread many lies. That's why we now reflect on the commandment of the Law: "Thou shalt not raise a false report!"

That commandment is very similar to the commandment of the Law of the 10 Commandments (Exodus 20:16 and Deuteronomy 5:20) "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour."

The spirit of lies and deception entered the world already in the fall of our ancestors in paradise and with them when they were expelled from paradise to cultivate and protect the earth. People have been influenced by lies to such an extent that it is difficult for many to believe the truth, because they doubt all the information they receive.

On the other hand, it is also quite wise to be suspicious of something that seems 'too good to be true', because it has often turned out to be a scam. Especially on social media channels, there are constantly spoof messages that promise anything either suspiciously cheap or almost free.

It is often about money, 'love', appreciation, success or 'inner enlightenment'. People need all such things, but Adonai Yeshua teaches us in the Sermon on the Mount about these things as follows: (Matt. 6:24-34)

>>24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve Elohim and Mammon. 25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Wherefore, if Elohim so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 ( For after all these things do the Gentiles seek: ) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.<<

Adam and Eve had only two options in paradise: Either believe and serve Elohim or believe and serve the Devil. Similarly, people in the world have been given only two options: To believe and serve Elohim, or to believe and serve the Father of Lies, or the Devil. We cannot believe and serve them both at the same time. Our final destination in eternity also depends on our choice!

Spreading a false rumor is always wrong!

It can lead to ridicule, slander and avoidance of our neighbor and even cause him to be fired from his job. A long time ago, a cunning rumor was spread about me, and fortunately, a higher official was wise enough to come and ask me if there was any truth to the rumor. I told him it wasn't and he believed me, saying that this matter won't go any further and told me to continue my work in peace.

In the worst cases, spreading a false rumor can lead to divorce and it can lead to suicide. Such unfortunate incidents have also happened among young people.

The right approach to Social Channels?

I assume that most of their content is more or less false and a lot of it is outright lies. Sometimes the results obtained from a search engine help to find out the veracity of the content. You shouldn't always trust them either, because social media has numerous made-up profiles from troll factories in many different countries.

What I do personally is that I pray FIRST and only then do I start investigating things more closely. I don't give out Visa card ID numbers at all, unless I have to and unless I know the supplier of the goods to be really reliable. That is because the fraudsters may also capture files from a trusted supplier, which may contain the ID numbers of my Visa card. That's why I use payment channels where I don't have to enter Visa card ID numbers, but can pay using a link from my bank account.

In addition, I keep only a small amount of money in my Visa card account and the rest in another bank's account, where I don't have a Visa card at all. I haven't taken any credit on my current Visa card, so its balance cannot be exceeded.

A wise approach to those closest to you?

I carefully choose the people I believe in and I believe in them with reservation, always keeping the back doors open. A Swedish proverb teaches: "Always remember to hope for the best, but at the same time prepare for the worst possible option!" When I follow it, I'm never disappointed. The Bible teaches about the same as follows: Micah 7:5-6

>>
5 Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom. 6 For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.<<

Reflection on Pesach Shabat! The 7th April 2023

Pesach Shabat Shalom !

Before, Judaism's holiest holiday was Yom Kippur, or the Great Day of Atonement. However, the incomparable act of redemption that our Savior Yeshua HaMashiach performed when he redeemed us from the power of sin and death on the cross i.e. on the execution tree of Calvary caused Yom Kippur to lose its meaning. Of course, Israel should still celebrate Yom Kippur, because it especially involves self-examination before Sukkót (the Feast of Tabernacles) and Simchát Toráh (the Jubilee of the Giving of the Law).

Jom Kippur was only temporarily as the biggest celebration to remind us that as long as Elohim's sacrificial lamb has not yet been born as a human being and come to redeem us from the curse of the Law, the sin problem of people is still unsolved and the sins unatoneable. ImmanuEL came and redeemed us from the curse of the Law about 2000 years ago, by reconciling people to His Father. He did this by taking away the sin of the world through his infinite pains and sufferings and finally by dying for us. HALLELUYAH!

The meaning of Pesach for Israel

Israel is to celebrate Pesach (Passover) in memory of  YHWH freeing his chosen people after their 430 year sojourn in Egypt. Almost 400 years were a harsh time of slavery and forced labor. The deliverance came through Moses and Aaron through severe punishments.

The tenth plague was that all the firstborn of the Egyptians and their livestock died on the same night referred to in the accompanying illustration. It finally changed the mind of the Egyptian pharaoh and he then with force drove the Israelites out of Egypt. We read Exodus 12:41

>>
And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years (430), even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of  YHWH went out from the land of Egypt.<<

The observance of Pesach has been given to Israel as an eternal decree, which is not canceled by the New Covenant.

The global significance of Pesach (Passover)

As an introduction, I refer to our Savior's conversation with the Israelites,
John 8:31-36

>>
31 Then said Yeshua to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? 34 Yeshua answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. 35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. 36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.<<

I also refer to John the Baptist's testimony about Adonai Yeshua, John 1:29
>>The next day John seeth Yeshua coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of Elohim, which taketh away the sin of the world!<<

All people are slaves to sin for as long as they come to Adonai Yeshua, repent their sins, confess their sins and go to the baptism of believers in the name of Yeshua HaMashiach for the forgiveness of their sins.

After that, they should wait for the Holy Spirit to come inside them as on the first Pentecost of the New Covenant. When the Holy Spirit comes, he gives the power to become a child of Elohim and breaks all the shackles of sin and then man is free and is no longer a slave to sin! He/she is then a new creation in Adonai Yeshua and born again! The old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Our Savior at Calvary atoned for the sins of all people, taking away the sin of the world. Based on that, all the chosen of the Most High of the New Covenant - regardless of their ethnic background - may remember with gratitude the atonement of their sins and worship the resurrected sacrificial lamb, Adonai Yeshua, during the Passover of the Israelites.

It is not a requirement or a regulation of the law for us chosen ones of the New Covenant, but a completely voluntary commemoration and I truly believe that the born again would like to celebrate it in one way or another. Holy Communion crowns the global celebration of Pesach (Passover).

The next point is very important to implement

It is good for us to examine our hearts at Pesach and if there is something to put away and to reach a settlement with our neighbors, let's contact them and agree with them as long as we are still on our way to the heavenly home.

Above all, let us wholeheartedly forgive all those who have transgressed against us, regardless of whether they have confessed their crimes or asked us to forgive them. Yeshua's teaching in the The Lord's Prayer obliges us to do this. Matt. 6:14-15

>>14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.<<

My favorite Pesach memory

Each of us who are born again has our own experience of meeting our Creator. It happened to me during Pesach week in 1971 the afternoon at 2 pm in the center of Helsinki. It was a supernatural encounter with YHWH Elohim himself. He came to me in human form while I was waiting for a bus to take me to a rural vacation.

I learned more from that encounter what Adonai Yeshua's taught us in Matt. 9:13.
>>But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.<<

You can read more of that encounter:
