Reflections on Shabat 29 Sept. 2023

 

Today we are studying what is the share of Adonai Yeshua and what is our own share in the purification of the soul so that we become fit for the work of proclaiming the Good News.


The basis of our salvation is the choice of grace

In proof of this we read the verses Rom. 8:28-30
>>28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love Elohim, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.<<

We find in the verses the following steps and in this order to bring the souls chosen for salvation from Darkness to Light:

- Loving Elohim (man's own choice in relation to his Creator)

- calling (calling the chosen according to Elohim's own plan)

- foreknowledge

- predestination

- calling

- justification

- to make glorious

If we do not love our Creator at all, his choice (perhaps) may not fall on us. For this reason, it is of prime importance to teach people when proclaiming the Good News to know their Creator as a loving Majesty who sent his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to reconcile us sinful and lost people to himself.

Being sinless himself, Adonai Yeshua took away the sin of the world when he died on the cross of Calvary and opened the way for us to his heavenly Father through the pure sacrificial blood he shed. He rose from the dead on the third day and is the Sacrificial Lamb at the right hand of the Majesty as our intercessor, for us who put our hope of salvation in him.

We read three scriptures as evidence

- Isaiah 53:10-12 (Quotation from the prophet's revelation, concerning our suffering Messiah)
>>10 Yet it pleased YHWH to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of YHWH shall prosper in his hand. 11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. <<

- John 3:16-18 (Adonai Yeshua's testimony of himself as the savior of men).

>>16 For YHWH so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For YHWH sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of YHWH.<<

- Hebrews 1:1-3 (Information received through the revelation of the Apostle Paul).
>>1 After YHWH spoke long ago in various portions and in various ways to our ancestors through the prophets, 2 in these last days he has spoken to us in a Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he created the world. 3 The Son is the radiance of his glory and the representation of his essence, and he sustains all things by his powerful word, and so when he had accomplished cleansing for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.<<


Our contribution to acceptance into the work

I already referred to this in the attached picture, but it's good to confirm it with the following scriptures:

- Isaiah 1:16-18 (YHWH calls people to sanctification through the prophet)

>>16 Wash! Cleanse yourselves! Remove your sinful deeds from my sight. Stop sinning! 17 Learn to do what is right! Promote justice! Give the oppressed reason to celebrate! Take up the cause of the orphan! Defend the rights of the widow! 18 Come, let's consider your options," says YHWH. "Though your sins have stained you like the color red, you can become white like snow; though they are as easy to see as the color scarlet, you can become white like wool.<<

- 2 Cor. 6:14-18 (Apostle Paul's exhortation to the Messianic in Corinth)
>>14 Do not become partners with those who do not believe, for what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship does light have with darkness? 15 And what agreement does HaMashiach have with Beliar? Or what does a believer share in common with an unbeliever?
 

16 And what mutual agreement does the temple of YHWH have with idols? For we are the temple of the living YHWH, just as He said, "I will live in them and will walk among them, and I will be their Elohim, and they will be my people."

17 Therefore "come out from their midst, and be separate," says YHWH, "and touch no unclean thing, and I will welcome you, 18 and I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters," says the All-Powerful YHWH.<<

Reflections on Shabat 22 Sept. 2023

 

It is a great misfortune under the sun that not nearly everyone gets to live to be old and gray-haired, but many of us have to go beyond the limit of time already young, some even as babies. It is also worth remembering that for many people it is a great liberation to pass from time to eternity from seeing the evil of this world and experiencing pain at a young age. That's why it's good to know that every person's life here in time is uniquely valuable and every person is dear to the Creator!

How sure is the protection?

  If we have given our lives completely to Adonai Yeshua and to be led by his Holy Spirit, then he himself, Yeshua our Creator, will take care of us throughout our life on earth. After that, he leads us to the sources of eternal life in Paradise, as promised in the Book of Revelation. The Book of Revelation is given by Father Elohim for instruction and comfort to all of us chosen in the New Covenant.


As we age, we become weak

  During that process, we are undressed for the ascension to heaven and taught in a very practical way that we are completely dependent on the help of our Creator, which he influences and implements through our neighbors. Many of us have to spend the rest of our earthly lives either in relative care or in a nursing home. The same thing happened to my mother, who got dementia. He received good care in a dementia care home in Borås, Sweden.

  As we grow older, we learn to understand more clearly how the world is full of vanity and strive to hide permanent spiritual treasures within us like the writer of Psalm 119, because the visible treasures are temporal, but the invisible ones are eternal. In addition, we are happy to be diligent in doing good deeds, because they are necessary for our suffering neighbors and acceptable to our Creator. As they get older, many become seriously ill and need our help.

  In my opinion, the most valuable act is to tell our neighbors who are ignorant of the faith, how they can be saved. Just yesterday I was in a scenic forest, where I met an 81-year-old man sitting on a bench along the fitness track. He was walking his grandson's wonderful dog, the Finnish Lapphund, of which you can see a picture I picked up from the internet below. The dog was just that kind of sly and playful.

   That man was physically very sick in many ways. I listened to him as he listed all the illnesses he currently had and the list was long. Also, his wife had left him, so the man was prepared to hear the message of salvation. I told him how to be saved and how I had come to faith myself.

  He listened carefully and said that he had often experienced clear supernatural help and guidance when he was a truck driver for years in Finland, in some other European countries and Russia. I told that it was a guardian angel, the kind we all have throughout our lives. He admitted that he had sinned a lot. I told Adonai Yeshua also atoned for all his sins when he died on the cross of Calvary.

  He was puzzled by the fact that the Bibles have been changed so much during their translation and that there so many religions and Christian groups and denominations that argue about doctrinal issues. I advised him to give his life to Adonai Yeshua, his Creator and Redeemer, and Yeshua would guide him to the 'right doctrine'. I told that for 36 years I have not belonged to any Christian congregation or church because the Holy Spirit has guided me to see how much they have strayed from the apostolic truths.

  Then he had to go take the dog to his grandson who was coming home from work. I wished him the blessing of the Most High and he wished me the same. I will take him with his relatives in my prayers before Adonai Yeshua, so that he would remind him how precious his search time is!


Extracts from Psalm 119

  I have recently read the marathon psalm for the very umpteenth time and it always refreshes my old and sick heart. Verse 130 spoke to me ( Acc. to CJB version) 
>>Your words are a doorway that lets in light, giving understanding to the thoughtless.<<

  That fits well with the teaching of Adonai Yeshua, who is the Word of Elohim:
John 10:7-10
>>7 So Yeshua said to them again, "I tell you the solemn truth, I am the door for the sheep. 8 All who came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters through me, he will be saved, and will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come so that they may have life, and may have it abundantly..."<<

  Without the light given us by Adonai Yeshua, we would all be wandering in spiritual darkness with no hope of salvation. Let us read his precious teachings and let them all be imperishable treasures to our hearts!

Reflections on Shabat 15 Sept. 2023

 

  For this Shabat, I was given the theme to think about the interaction of angels and people in carrying out the will of Adonai Yeshua and Yehowah Elohim, regarding leading people to participate in salvation and how they differ from each other. Of course, the Holy Spirit also has a decisive influence, but now I am only looking at this from the perspective of angels and people.

First, a warning about worshiping angels

   There is a clear instruction in the Bible that we should not worship or blindly obey angels that sometimes appear in our lives. Instead, we should always examine in the Spirit whether their teachings are completely in line with the Bible and, if necessary, test the angel by asking him if he believes that Hamashiach Yeshua is the only Savior of mankind and the Son of the Most High who came in the flesh and defeated Satan through his death and blood on the cross. This is because Satan also pretends to be an angel of light.

   However, we should respect the angels that the Most High Himself sends to help us when needed and strive to work seamlessly in cooperation with them. It is not for nothing that they have been sent to help us in the work of building us up in faith in Adonai Yeshua, so that we may become more successful soul winners in the Kingdom of Heaven!

   I can't resist telling a funny incident just today: When I took the elevator from the top 8th floor of my apartment building down to the first floor, the elevator stopped on the 5th floor, but no one came. It occurred to me in a sense of humor that perhaps it was an angel who came along. When the elevator stopped next on the 3rd floor, and no one came in either, I felt it as a confirmation of my suspicion, because never before has the elevator stopped twice on the way down and no one came in. That's why I thought that the angels humorously showed me that they are among us always ready to help us like boy scouts!

The main tasks of angels

- Some of the angels act as human protectors, i.e. guardian angels, from the moment a person is conceived and they watch over our birth, serving us until the moment of our death on earth. I have seen my guardian angel when I was in a very deep spiritual crisis. In a dream, he leaped from a white cloud, came to me and advised me how to get rid of anxiety. I followed the advice and got free. He was about 2 m tall, powerfully built like a flame of fire, a handsome, middle-aged man with no wings. (Matthew 18:10 and Hebrews 1:13-14)

- Some angels, e.g. Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel, act as messengers between people and YHWH in addition to each guardian angel. They advise us and take our prayers to the Father and defend us if necessary, so that none of us has to die before the end of our appointed life, e.g. due to illness. (Daniel 8:16 and Luke 1:19, 26)

- Some of the angels are always fighting for us against Satan and his fallen angels. They are a host of glory, working in the ranks of YHWH Elohim. I have seen, while awake, war angels dressed in white riding on white horses as if on an invisible plane about a meter above the ground. They didn't have wings either. Nor did I see any weapons on them(?) (Rev. 19:14)
 
- Some of the highest ranking angel princes bring important messages to the leaders of the nations, especially the spiritual leaders of the nations. One example is the angelic revelation received by Archbishop Gustaf Johansson, who worked in Turku, Finland, in Turku Cathedral in 1920. I copied that angelic revelation below: (Dan. 10:13)

"One late dark evening in 1920, Gustaf Johansson was on an evening walk. He walked past the cathedral and noticed it brightly lit. Curious, he went to look inside to see what the occasion was so late.

When he entered, before the altar of the church, in the middle aisle, stood a huge bright angel with a drawn sword in his hand. An angel sent by God announced that Finland will face three harsh judgments:

"First the tip of the sword gets wet, second the sword goes halfway and third the sword goes all the way to the hilt.

Your nation will experience three blows from such a sword and to see three great wars, when the sword will strike Finland. One blow has already come, but two are yet to come.

Finland will withstand these two blows of the sword, but the third will sink deep and to the hilt, unless Finnish Christians return to the Bible and be filled with the Holy Spirit and repent in everything where repentance can be found." "<<

What does that revelation mean for Finland?

- As the reader can see, that is a very serious message for all Christians in Finland. That is, specifically for Christians, and not for the ungodly, who don't even believe in angels! The first two points of the revelation have already been fulfilled. The third, worst part of that has yet to come true and Finland's current state of mind very unfortunately seems like our country will soon become a battleground between NATO and Russia and its allies!

- Already in the 1970s, I saw in a revelation how our capital Helsinki will be bombed into ruins with two nuclear bombs exploding at the same time, because Finland is not currently relying on the help of the Almighty Elohim, but on of the help of NATO.

- The Finnish people have abandoned Christianity at a very fast pace. Even our largest church, the Evangelical Lutheran Church, has begun to bless gender-neutral marriages, and the most popular presidential candidate for the new president in 2014 is Pekka Haavisto, who lives in an official gay relationship with a young man. Pekka does not have any university degree, but only a high school diploma.

- This is now the situation in Finland, which has been chosen as the happiest nation in the world six times in a row! Oh Adonai Yeshua dear, have mercy on us and our people!

Human life also includes many kinds of pain and suffering. No one can completely avoid them. It's good to cry when it's time to cry and to rejoice when it's time.


The basic message of King David's Psalms

David's Psalms are mostly mournful and reflect the immense fear and anxiety he had to walk through for years as he fled from the constant persecution of King Saul, possessed by an evil spirit, which tried to murder him.

Their message is also intended for us Christians of the end of time, who live in a time where godlessness is rampant and Christianity is being abandoned in all Western countries in a surprisingly fast time frame. We are called to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth. In this bad time, it requires courage from us and the readiness of many Christians around the world to also be martyrs, if Adonai Yeshua so decrees.

My own experience with David's psalm

My first experience happened in the spring of 1973 when I was living in Jesus commune with six other Christian youths in the center of Stad. It was time to look for a new apartment, because we had received permission to live in the apartment for 9 months. I decided to leave the matter with prayers to Adonai Yeshua and not to look for an apartment myself at all. For so long it was easy for me to believe when there was still a month until the moving day.

I still hadn't got an apartment, even though I had to move out the next day! I had a strange dream that night. According to it, I was standing on a strong bedrock with my arms stretched up towards the clear blue sky. Suddenly, I saw something white, like a cloth, which rotated at high speed and it descended down from the sky right in front of me! It was like a big white sheet. On the sheet it was written in black and very big letters and numbers:

I was very tired next morning, when I sat down to drink morning tea. Then I remembered having a special dream and vision that reference to Psalm 6:7-9. I couldn't memorize its contents, so I read it in the Bible and was very surprised! I immediately understood that the adversaries referred to in the psalm are spirits of darkness and not people!

Two days before, I already participated in the first EV-73 Evangelical Conference (1973) in Finland's history, where I was an observer member. As far as I remember, more than 160 different Christian communities and congregations, as well as us non-church members, participated in it as I did.

In the morning, I packed all my belongings into two bags, one of which was a suitcase. I took them to the luggage storage at the railway station and visited the Christian housing agency, where I got an apartment for that day. I paid a month's rent and went to Dipoli (Meeting house) in Espoo town for the EV Conference.

I 'mistakenly' went to the wrong meeting room and while standing in the lobby under the loudspeaker, I heard the announcement: "A young man is getting an apartment today. Contact the office immediately!" I felt the vibrations of the Holy Spirit throughout my body and I heard Him say, "That apartment was reserved for you."

I couldn't take it anymore because I had already signed a lease for another apartment and already paid the rent for it. If I had waited just 4 more hours, I would have really received the apartment that Adonai Yeshua reserved for me. It was my first defeat on the path of faith and I have tried to learn from it. It is just as it is written in the book of the prophet: Hab. 2:3

>>For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hasteth toward the end, and shall not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not delay.<<

I have learned that the most difficult thing is to wait for an answer to prayer, because it requires genuine faith! Let's compete and get stronger day by day in faith!

The prompt I received at night

I had been depressed for a few days because the bronchial asthma had taken away my strength and the malignant rhinitis was bothering me and I had to constantly cough up mucus. An old plastic filling also came off one of my teeth on Wednesday. Huh, that too. Just a month ago, a big piece of the plastic filling of a big old back tooth came off and I just got it repaired. Fortunately, I got a cancellation appointment from Turku Tooth Care for this new shedding already for next Monday morning! Many thanks to Adonai Yeshua for that!

I saw a dream in which I advised a depressed man to listen to spiritual songs and especially praise psalms, because they contain a message that strengthens the innermost part of a person. I took him to a Christian meeting and we sang together some hymns. I did exactly the same today at home and was filled with the Holy Spirit! That's why I got this topic for this Sabath.

Oh, how cute the animals are when they are yet smal!

All human children are like that when they are babies.

Where did all creation originate?

That question has always puzzled people. Our Creator has answered the question himself, saying that he has created everything with his Word. All the visible and invisible worlds, the heavens and the heavens of heavens are the works of his hands. Each of us is also his handiwork, and he has created people in his company in the beginning.

All sorrow, loneliness, fear, wars, diseases, hunger, distress, death and other evil things came into the world, also for our trouble, because we have inherited sin and death from our ancestors. It is a great mercy that our tribulation here in the world is only for a short time. After that we move to our eternal abode.

Everything that has a beginning also has an end!

This planet we live on and the starry sky around it will be lost because it is corrupted and they were created only for a limited time in the beginning. This is evident from the verses: Ps. 102:25-27 and Heb. 1:10-13

>>25 Of old hast you laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of your hands. 26 They shall perish, but you shall endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shall you change them, and they shall be changed: 27 But you are the same, and your years shall have no end.<<

>>10 And, You, Adonai (Yeshua HaMashiach), in the beginning has laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of your hands: 11 They shall perish; but you remains; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; 12 And as a vesture shall you fold them up, and they shall be changed: but you are the same, and your years shall not fail. 13 But as to which of the angels said he (YHWH) ever, Sit at my right hand until I put thine enemies [as] footstool of your feet?<< 

The exception to the rule is the eternal Kingdom ruled by the Son of Man (i.e. HaMashiach Yeshua) and his elect, which has existed since the foundation of the world and will never end! Dan. 7:13-14

>>13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. 14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.<<


What will our whereabouts be like in eternity?

It will be exactly what we have earned by our actions if we have not allowed Adonai Yeshua to cleanse us from all sin with his holy blood! Without faith in Adonai Yeshua, all people will be eternally separated from their Creator and - unlike here on earth - they will suffer eternal thirst, pain, longing for the connection of their Creator and being rejected.

This is why it is extremely important for us to allow ourselves to be saved from what awaits people beyond the boundary of time. Even today we are called to the living stone, HaMashiach Yeshua, who has been rejected by most people, but who is our only hope to enter eternally into the glory of heaven and the eternal Kingdom that has been created for us since the foundation of the world!

>>Look unto me, and be you saved, all the ends of the earth: for I Am Elohim, and there is none else.<< Isa. 45:22


When will the earth and heavens be lost?

It is certainly good to know that this will happen in the future. The question is not relevant now. It doesn't even matter to us after our walk on earth is over. That's why we should primarily focus on turning to Adonai Yeshua in time - today at the latest - asking for mercy, forgiveness of sins and purification of the heart! When we follow our Savior for the rest of our lives, we will get to heaven! Rev. 2:10c
