"The letters contained in the Book of Revelation to the Congregations"

Chapters 2-3 of the Book of Revelation contain the missionary letters to the 7 Congregations of Asia Minor at the time of the apostle John. However, the Bible is relevant at all times and those letters have had at least two different meanings in different eras. The Revelation of John is a prophetic/apocalyptic book, and because of that, I think the letters also tell about the development stages of the Messianic Congregations, in the past, in the present, and even until the end of the 1000-year peace period that lies ahead of us.

Today we are studying Revelation chapter 3 and only the mission letter to the Congregation in Laodicea.

A letter to the Congregation in Laodicea

This one of these 7 Congregations in Asia Minor received downright crushing rebukes! There was nothing to praise about its operation!

>>14 "To the angel of the Congregation in Laodicea write the following: "This is the solemn pronouncement of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the originator of Elohim's creation: 15 'I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either cold or hot! 16 So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I am going to vomit you out of my mouth!

17 Because you say, "I am rich and have acquired great wealth, and need nothing," but do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked, 18 take my advice and buy gold from me refined by fire so you can become rich! Buy from me white clothing so you can be clothed and your shameful nakedness will not be exposed, and buy eye salve to put on your eyes so you can see! 19 All those I love, I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent!

20 Listen! I am standing at the door and knocking! If anyone hears my voice and opens the door I will come into his home and share a meal with him, and he with me. 21 I will grant the one who conquers permission to sit with me on my throne, just as I too conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the Congregations.'"<<

Verse 14: Yeshua again announces himself with several special names: 'Amen' or 'True', 'Faithful', 'True Witness' and 'Elohim the Beginning of Creation'. Those names again represent the authority with which the following teaching was given.

Verses 15 (-18) : The state of the Congregation was very miserable. It was not dead, like most in Sardis, but neither was it burning, like the parishioners of Smyrna and Philadelphia.

Verse 16: Because the spiritual condition of the Congregation was a bush, Yeshua announced that he would abandon it unless a clear change took place.

Verse 17: The Congregation thought they were rich and as if independent of others, even of Yeshua, but it was anything but seen through his eyes! According to the analysis, it was wretched and pitiful, poor, blind and naked.

Verse 18:
Yeshua advised the Congregation to buy gold from him, i.e. return doctrinally to the apostolic truth, to buy white clothes from him, i.e. to proclaim genuine repentance for the forgiveness of sins and to ask for gift righteousness through faith in Yeshua's blood, to receive white clothes and eye salve, i.e. the anointing of the Holy Spirit with its gifts of grace, in order to understand the words of Truth and the will of Elohim.

Verse 19: Yeshua declared that he still loves this Congregation which was in great apostasy, even though he used harsh words of rebuke against it with the aim of exhorting it to be diligent in repentance.

Verse 20: How startling is the mention that the Head of the Congregations, Yeshua himself, is shut out of this one and has to knock on its outer door, begging to come in, in order to save its members! Unfortunately, the current reality is even more startling than this!

He is still knocking on the front door of a few Congregations, but he has already rejected most of them. That is, those in which only 'theatre' is practiced, soulful man-made rituals and forms, which are also called sacraments! Pathetic! He urges his elected officials to resign from them. (Read verses Rev. 18:4-5)

Verse 21:
It is surprising what honor Yeshua promises to the wretched members of that very Laodicean church, if they heed his words of patience, humble themselves and come back to the apostolic teachings: He allows only the OVERCOMERS to sit with him on his throne, as he also fought and WON, and was allowed to sit on that basis To his Father's throne!

Verse 22: This Mission letter also ends with an exhortation to listen and take heed!

Briefly of the Laodicean Congregation
(§ = meaning, + = pluses, - = minuses)

Also refers to the era that began in 1948 - "Liberal Church" - Located approx. 150 km east of Ephesus. It was an old city right next to Colossae and was famous for its black woolen fabrics, eye cream, banks and trading houses.
§ State churches: Lutheran, Catholic, Orthodox, Anglican, etc.
§ The name means: "People's rights, people's power"

   Pluses and minuses
+ (nothing)
- Neither cold nor burning in the Spirit (liberal, rejected the apostolic doctrine, party politicized)
- Wealth (the pursuit of money, power and glory)
- Pride (as today: logical conclusions, AI = Artificial Intelligence, science and evolution have been exalted next to the Bible's doctrine of salvation and often even above it)
- Blindness (several basic truths of the Bible have been rejected and we act without the guidance of the Holy Spirit, because we do not know him and therefore cannot obey)
- Lack of righteousness (immorality, frivolity, currently held rock concerts in churches, participation in pride events and offering Holy Communion to gays and lesbians, as well as blessing and/or marrying the couples in question, etc.)

The exceptionally harsh reprimands for this Congregation were also due to the fact that it was from this apostate Congregation that MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH took dominion over the nations of Europe. That is mentioned in chapters 17-18 of the book of Revelation and it persecuted apostolic Christians and Jews in the dark ages and it will persecute even more severely in the future!

In addition, it should be mentioned that the times of these similar 7 Congregations continue spiritually and in outline until the beginning of the 1000-year peace era, with the exception of the immaculate "Philadelphia Congregation" (consisting of genuine watchful believers in many Congregations worldwide), whose members will be taken away in Rapture already 7 years before that.

Introspection

Let's critically evaluate our local Congregation and ourselves as individuals, are there similar reproaches? When we most obviously find reasons for reproach, let us humble ourselves and repent as a Congregation and as individuals, asking for guidance in the Holy Spirit, praying for desire and strength from above!

§§§

This all you will get, if you fight until to win!

For the sake of recapitulation, I list here all the tremendous promises that were made to the chosen members of these seven Congregations in Asia Minor, if they would compete in the good fight, they would win for themselves the following blessings and spiritual riches as a result. The same promises also apply to all Messianic Jews and Christian believers today:

1) To him that overcometh I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in (C) Elohim's paradise.' (Rev. 2:7) (C) According to G. Lamsa's translation, at the end of verse 7 it reads: "...which is in the midst of the paradise of Elohim."

2) Be faithful unto death, and I will give you a crown (or wreath) of life. (Rev. 2:10)

3) He who overcomes will not be harmed by another death.' (Rev. 2:11)

4) To the one who wins, I will give hidden manna and I will give him a white stone and a new name written on that stone, which no one knows except the recipient.' (Rev. 2:17)

5) To the one who overcomes and takes care of my works until the end, to him I will give power (I) to rule over the Gentiles, (Rev. 2:26) (I) At the end of verse 26 of G. Lamsa's translation, it reads "...to him I will give power over the nations ...”

6) And I will give him the morning star(Rev. 2:28)

7) They may walk with me in white clothes, for they are worthy. (Rev. 3:4)

8) He who overcomes will thus be clothed in white clothes, and I will not blot out his name from the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels. (Rev. 3:5)

9) I have opened a door for you, and no one can close it. Although your power is small, you have kept my word and have not denied my name. (Rev. 3:8)

10) I will give you from the synagogue of Satan those who say they are Jews and are not, but lie. I have to make them come and bow before your feet and understand that I love you. (Rev. 3:9)

11) Since you have taken care of the word of my patience, so I will also take care of you and save you from the moment of trial that will come over the whole earth to test those who live on earth. (Rev. 3:10) /// Refers perhaps to the Rapture of the wise virgins(?) ///

12) He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the Temple of my Elohim, and he will never go out from there again. (Rev. 3:12a)

13) I will write on him the name of my Elohim and the name of the city of my Elohim, the New Jerusalem that descends from heaven from my Elohim, and my own new name. (Rev. 3:12b)

14) If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with me. (Rev. 3:20b)

15) He who overcomes, I will grant to sit with me on my throne, just as I also overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne. (Rev. 3:21)

§§§

We can win our spiritual battle only by walking in connection with Adonai Yeshua and implementing in our lives the instruction of the Byzantine NT translation: (Rom. 8:1)
"So now there is no condemnation for those who are in HaMashiach Yeshua, for those who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit!"

Please, tell me what kind of thoughts did this my writing evoke in you?

Today we are studying Revelation chapter 3 and the mission letter mentioned only in the middle of the chapter to the Congregation in Philadelphia.

A letter to the Congregation in Philadelphia

From the seven Asia Minor Congregations this was one of the two in which could found nothing to blame, but contained a lot of good and exemplary activities!

>>7 "To the angel of the Congregation in Philadelphia write the following: "This is the solemn pronouncement of the Holy One, the True One, who holds the key of David, who opens doors no one can shut, and shuts doors no one can open: 8 'I know your deeds. (Look! I have put in front of you an open door that no one can shut.) I know that you have little strength, but you have obeyed my word and have not denied my name.

9 Listen! I am going to make those people from the synagogue of Satan - who say they are Jews yet are not, but are lying - Look, I will make them come and bow down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you. 10 Because you have kept my admonition to endure steadfastly, I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is about to come on the whole world to test those who live on the earth. 11 I am coming soon *). Hold on to what you have so that no one can take away your crown **).

12 The one who conquers I will make a pillar in the temple of my Elohim, and he will never depart from it. I will write on him the name of my Elohim and the name of the city of my Elohim (the new Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven from my Elohim), and my new name as well. 13 The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the Congregations.'<<

*) (Acc. to G. Lamsa) or: "suddenly/// **)
(Acc. to G. Lamsa) or: "your wreath"

Verse 7: Yeshua reports himself as Holy One and True One, who has the key of David and has the power to open up so that no one can close, and has the power to close so that no one can open. This means that this book cannot be opened through human wisdom or understanding, but only through the Holy Spirit's help.

Verse 8: Opening the door meant the success of taking the Salvation message into the environment for those who were without it. It meant that the door is also open to the eternal halls of heaven to those members of Congregation who have found the right mutual love, that is, learned to love each other despite their deficiencies.

Yeshua mentioned that mutual love is the only outwardly visible identification mark that can be used to recognize us as his disciples (John 13:35). Only doctrinal purity and the most complete theology are not enough, even though they are important. People primarily want to get
and experience genuine love in words and deeds, and to be saved by Adonai Yeshua!

Verse 9:
According to Yeshua and what was originally seen with
the true eyes of our heavenly Father, some of the Jews in the community were spiritually evaluated 'Satan's synagoguebecause they tried hard to stop them and made it very difficult for them to tell the Good Message of Salvation to all the people. However, Yeshua had not abandoned them, but promised to humiliate them and bring them to bow and kneel in front of the members of Congregation. In addition, this refers to kneeling of the all people before Yeshua's feet, because he is the only head of the Congregations!

Verse 10:
Yeshua promises to reward those who obey him by protecting them from the very bad test that will come into the whole world. In my opinion, the prophetic promise is also hidden for the Rapture of Congregation in the end of the time, whose members will be saved from the moment of the test, that is, to be taken safety into heaven, before the 7-year period, when the great anxiety and anger will soon confront the world!

Verse 11: This also refers to Yeshua's sudden arrival, which has promised to encourage all Messianic generations, but is the most important for the true believers of the New Covenant in the end time! Only the winners will be promised the crown of life, to which Yeshua also referred to in the end of verse Rev. 2:10

Verse 12: Only the winners are promised permanent access to our Creator to the heavenly temple. 'Pillar' means appreciation and is a symbol of YHWH's power and strengthening (1 Kings 7:21). What other promise would have fit better for that little and "small" Congregation!

- In addition, he promised to write three different names on the winners: the name of his Elohim, the name of the New Jerusalem of the Elohim descending from heaven to earth, and his own new name. Anciently slaves were marked with their owner's name.

- With those three different names to be sealed the civil rights of all our Believers of the New Covenant, belonging to the eternal spiritual Israel, the right to the eternal Jerusalem, our royal right to be the children of YHWH Elohim and also the membership in the royal priesthood of Yeshua as it is written in verses Eph. 2:11-16 and 1 Pet. 2:9.

Verse 13: Believers in Yeshua are urged (again) to listen and to pay close attention to what the Holy Spirit says to all Congregations and also to us as individs!
- - -

Regarding local Congregations in general, I remember a Bible school principal (Ebbe Bolin, Sweden) who had preached in about 40 years in numerous local Congregations, in large and small. He had stated that if in the Congregation were only about 40-50 members, its members had the best conditions to grow in the inner knowledge of Adonai Yeshua and to actively bear responsibility in evangelizing and other work.

Congregation in Philadelphia for short

(§ = meaning, + = pluses, - = minuses)

Also refers to the Congregation period 1750 - 2030 "Mission Parish" – It was located in Lydia, near Sardis, approx. 100 km (about 62 mi) northeast of Ephesus and was a border town.

§ Philadelphia means: "Brotherly love".
§ The city of Philadelphia was the youngest and its Congregation the smallest in size, but it was the most courageous to proclaim the name of Yeshua!
§ Some names of Yeshua: "Holy and True", "Holder of the Key of David".
§ The Congregation that is vigilant and keeps its soul pure will be taken to safety in the Rapture before the start of 7 years of tribulation and wrath.
§ The Congregation in Philadelphia functioned independently from the Congregations in Sardis and in Laodicea.

   Pluses or minuses:
+ Doing deeds pleasing to YHWH / + Endurance despite little strength.
+ Obedience and reaching out according to the Word / + Recognition of the name Yeshua.
+ Promise to get new members / + Keeping the words of truth.
- (nothing).

/// The revivals of this 'Mission period' began in A.D. 1739 from George Whitefield, continuing through John Wesley, Charles G. Finney, and Dwight L. Moody, and many other chosen workers, in force until 1900, and have since diluted in many respects.

The above link does not take into account the tremendous outpouring of the Holy Spirit that occurred in the early 20th century and has continued as a charismatic movement with the goal of restoring all current local Congregations of Adonai Yeshua to the apostolic teachings, and also to operate using gifts of grace to guide the chosen believers to sanctification and prepare them to Rapture.

In addition, it should be mentioned that the times of these similar 7 Congregations continue spiritually and in outline until the beginning of the 1000-year peace era, with the exception of the immaculate "Philadelphia Congregation" (consisting of genuine watchful believers in many Congregations worldwide), whose members will be taken up already 7 years before that.

Introspection

Let's think about our local Congregation and ourselves as individuals, whether there are similar reasons for thanksgiving in it and in us as individuals? If we also find reasons for reproach, then let us humble ourselves to repent as a Congregation and as individuals, asking for leading in the Holy Spirit, praying for desire and strength from above!

Today we are studying Revelation chapter 3 and the mission letter mentioned only at the beginning to the Congregation in Sardis.

A letter to the Congregation in Sardis

>>1 To the angel of the Congregation in Sardis write the following: "This is the solemn pronouncement of the one who holds the seven spirits of Elohim and the seven stars:

'I know your deeds, that you have a reputation that you are alive, but in reality you are dead.
2 Wake up then, and strengthen what remains that was about to die, because I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of my Elohim. 3 Therefore, remember what you received and heard, and obey it, and repent. If you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will never know at what hour I will come against you.

4 But you have a few individuals in Sardis who have not stained their clothes, and they will walk with me dressed in white, because they are worthy.

5 The one who conquers will be dressed like them in white clothing, and I will never erase his name from the book of life, but will declare his name before my Father and before his angels.

6 The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the Congregations.' "<<  Rev. 3:1-6

Verses 1-2: Adonai Yeshua authoritatively presents himself as the possessor of the seven Spirits of Elohim, who possesses the seven stars, i.e. the angel or messenger of each Congregation, i.e. the shepherd, i.e. the Congregation's leader. His statement about the spiritual condition of Sardis was crushing! By his standards the Congregation was spiritually dead. According to verse 2, the Congregation's leader must wake up to watch over and strengthen those still alive who are about to die, because the actions of the Congregation's leader were not perfect before Elohim.

- In modern times, the spiritual level is exactly the same in the majority of Christian Congregations. The largest Congregations have constantly and to an ever-increasing degree given up the 'light and salt', which they should contain, so that those who walk in the darkness find the way to salvation and the sinners turn to the Forgiver of sins and repent. The vast majority of modern pastors have rejected the
early apostolic teachings teaching of the Bible, like this: Acts 11:18
>>When they heard this, they ceased their objections and praised Elohim, saying, "So then, Elohim has granted the repentance that leads to (the eternal) life even to the Gentiles."<<

Verses 3-4: Yeshua reminds the Congregation's leader of what he had heard and what was entrusted to him to build the Congregation's and urges him to repent or he will suddenly punish him! What is special is that the threat is directed specifically at the Congregation's leader, and not the Congregation itself! Discipline could perhaps be a change of the Congregation's leader (?) According to verse 4, there were still a few 'names' or saints in Sardis who had not defiled their clothes. They had been sanctified and abandoned the life of sin. Others had indulged in various sins and experienced spiritual death.. The following warning was fulfilled in them: Jude 1:12-13

>>12 These men are dangerous reefs at your love feasts, feasting without reverence, feeding only themselves. They are waterless clouds, carried along by the winds; autumn trees without fruit - twice dead, uprooted; 13 wild sea waves, spewing out the foam of their shame; wayward stars for whom the utter depths of eternal darkness have been reserved.<<

- That saying 'twice dead' refers to the fact that they had been truly in the faith, but then apostatized and became overcome by sinful lusts, because they had not controlled their condition in order to remain holy and pure. They probably went to the meeting in local Congregation regularly, thinking it was a guarantee of salvation for them! Many modern Christians think the same way, but they will be horrified at the last judgment of their true state, unless they turn and repent of their sins in time!

Verses 5-6: Yeshua calls on those who are still spiritually alive to continue to compete so that they WIN and finally achieve Salvation and be clothed in white clothes, i.e. the chosen's gift righteousness, and that their names remain in the Book of Life written in heaven, which Yeshua referred to in Luke 10:20
>>Nevertheless, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names stand written in heaven.<<

In verse 6 Yeshua urges this Congregation to listen and obey the call given through the Holy Spirit to all Congregations then and prophetically also to us as individuals today.

A short summary of the Congregation in Sardis

(§ = meaning, + = pluses, - = minuses) See the map!

Also refers to the srk period 1517 - 1750 "Reformation" - Located approx. 80 km northeast of Ephesus and it had been the capital of the old Lydian Kingdom, one of the big cities of its time, but at that time it was quite insignificant.
§ Sardis means: "Prince of joy", "Saved" and "Come out"
    The pluses and minuses:
+ Only a worthy few, who were required to do nothing more than keep their hearts pure.
- Dying and asleep / - Imperfect works / - Only formal Christian/Messianic faith

A former Roman Catholic monk, Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses to the door of the Wittenberg church in 1517. It was the clearest departure from the rottenness of the doctrine of the Roman Catholic papal church. He is considered to have been one of the most significant intercessors of the religious reformation in the 16th century.

That's when the time of the Reformation began. Its most valuable consequence was the translation of the Bibles into the native languages of the peoples and finally made available to everyone even here in Finland! In England, the theologian John Wycliffe had already translated the Bible from Latin into Middle English before this, at the end of the 14th century.

Introspection

Let's reflect on the local Congregation and ourselves as individuals, whether there are similar reasons for praise and/or reproach in it, and from me/you as an individual? If we find similar or other reproaches, let us humble ourselves to repent as a Congregation and as individuals, asking and praying
in the Holy Spirit for the will and strength to that from on high

Let's study from Revelation chapter 2 and only the missionary letter to the Congregation
in Thyatira.

Letter to the Congregation in Thyatira

>>18 "To the angel of the church in Thyatira write the following: "This is the solemn pronouncement of the Son of Elohim, the one who has eyes like a fiery flame and whose feet are like (A) polished bronze:

19 'I know your deeds: your love, faith, service, and steadfast endurance. In fact, your more recent deeds are greater than your earlier ones. 20 But I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and by her teaching deceives my servants to commit sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols.

21 I have given her time to repent, but she is not willing to repent of her sexual immorality. 22 Look! I am throwing her onto a bed of violent illness, and those who commit adultery with her into terrible suffering, unless they repent of her deeds.

23 Furthermore, I will strike her followers with a deadly disease, and then all the Congregations will know that I am the one who searches minds and hearts. I will repay each one of you what your deeds deserve.

24 But to the rest of you in Thyatira, all who do not hold to this teaching (who have not learned the so-called "deep secrets of Satan"), to you I say: I do not put any additional burden on you. 25 However, hold on to what you have until I come.

26 And to the one who conquers and who continues in my deeds until the end, I will give him authority over the nations - 27 he will rule them with an iron rod and like clay jars he will break them to pieces, 28 just as I have received the right to rule (B) from my Father - and I will give him the morning star. 29 The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the Congregations.'"<<

(A) Translated by G. Lamsa at the end of verse 18 "...whose feet are like the fine brass of Lebanon..."

(B) Translated by G. Lamsa at the beginning of verse 28 "...just as I myself was disciplined towards my Father..."

- - -

Verse 18: Here Yeshua introduces himself as the Son of Elohim. It was because of that testimony that He was sentenced to death at the trial of Israel's Supreme Religious Council, the Sanhedrin. We read those verses in Mark. 14:61-64:

>>61 But he was silent and did not answer. Again the high priest questioned him, "Are you the HaMashiach, the Son of the Blessed One?" 62 "I am, (C)" said Yeshua, "and you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power and coming with the clouds of heaven." 63 Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, "Why do we still need witnesses? 64 You have heard the blasphemy! What is your verdict?" They all condemned him as deserving death.<<

(C) 'I Am' is one of Elohim's proper names. See Exodus 3:14

His outward signs correspond to Him who appeared to Daniel, Dan.10:5-6
>>5 I looked up and saw a man clothed in linen; around his waist was a belt made of gold from Upaz. 6 His body resembled yellow jasper, and his face had an appearance like lightning. His eyes were like blazing torches; his arms and feet had the gleam of polished bronze. His voice thundered forth like the sound of a large crowd.<<

Verse 19: Yeshua praised the Congregation for no less than six different things, which were: works, love, faith, service, patience, and more works to come than before, because he also sees everything about our future!

Verses 20-23: Yeshua reprimands the Congregation for tolerating a harlot who claimed to be a prophetess and taught, misleading other members of the congregation, to fornicate and eat food sacrificed to idols. Yeshua said that he gave that Jezebel time to repent, but she didn't want to obey, and she didn't want to give up her fornication.

Yeshua said that He will punish Jezebel with sickness and those who committed adultery with her with great tribulation unless they repent and give up their deeds. In addition, Yeshua said that he would mercilessly kill the children of Jezebel, giving a warning example to other Congregations as well, regarding this time as well!

Verses 24-25: Yeshua promises to protect those members of the srk who do not have that Jezebel heresy, i.e. those who have not come to know, as they themselves said: the depths of Satan. They are not given another burden, but are told to keep what they have until Yeshua comes.

Verses 26-29: Finally, Yeshua promises only to the overcomers, who take heed of His works to the end, the power to rule over the Gentiles and the power to shepherd them with a rod of iron, as He Himself has overcome and received that power from the Father.

In addition, Yeshua promised to give them the "morning star", by which He apparently meant to give them great brightness and the power of light, because the morning star is a symbol of light and brightness in the symbolism of the Bible, which, like the morning star, represents the dawn of a new day.

The star also refers to royalty. Some suggest that the morning star refers to Yeshua giving himself to them, because in Rev. 22:16 Yeshua is presented as a "bright morning star". So not 'just' as a morning star. I do not agree with that explanation because Paul clearly teaches that we belong to the Messiah and he belongs to YHWH Elohim! He teaches about heavenly ownership as follows: 1 Cor. 3:21-23.

Also in the Gospel of John, Yeshua prays to the Father to give his chosen ones the same glory that he has, so that we may be perfectly one with Him, the Father and one another, just as he is perfectly one with the Father: John 17:20-24

>>20 "I am not praying only on their behalf, but also on behalf of those who believe in me through their testimony, 21 that they will all be one, just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. I pray that they will be in us, so that the world will believe that you sent me.

22 The glory you gave to me I have given to them, that they may be one just as we are one - 23 I in them and you in me - that they may be completely one, so that the world will know that you sent me, and you have loved them just as you have loved me.

24 "Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, so that they can see my glory that you gave me because you loved me before the creation of the world.

Yeshua ended his message also to the Congregation of Thyatira, urging them, like all previous and later members of the Congregations, to have their ears open and their hearts ready to receive the message that the Holy Spirit tells the churches! We too will do well if we learn from these letters and reach out according to their teachings as individuals and as Congregations!

Briefly about the Congregation in Thyatira

It was located about 50 km southeast of Pergamos and was the smallest of all those 7 churches in Asia Minor, but its problems were far-reaching right up to these times!
Also refers to the period 606-1517 - That is, the "Middle Ages", which was the time when the Catholic Church was established.
§ Thyatira means: "Daughter of Tyrus, ruling woman"
§ Description of Yeshua: "Son of Elohim, with eyes like a flame of fire and feet like polished brass"
   Pluses and minuses:
+ Deeds / + Love / + Faith / + Spirit of service / + Patience / + Last comes more abundant deeds
- Heresies of Jezebel / - Statues in churches / - Immorality / - Idols, later as a result the worship of the Virgin Mary *) and other people as saints.
*) According to the NT, after giving birth to Yeshua (according to Mark 6:13), Mary gave birth to at least six other children, so she cannot be an eternal virgin! The claim that Joosef was previously married and those other children were from that union is unfounded.
