Reflections on Shabat, 26th July 2024

 

The people of Israel were tested in the dry deserts of Sur and Saudi Arabia for 40 years, and only after that only the children of those who left slavery in Egypt to freedom, besides Joshua and Caleb, got to the promised land. We read the verse in Gal. 4:25

to the present Jerusalem, for she is in slavery with her children.<<

Nowadays there are many different interpretations about where the 

people of Israel crossed the sea, where the Egyptian army followed them and where they drowned. I am of the opinion that it was about the part of the Gulf of Aqaba according to the attached pictures, which the apostle Paul also referred to in his teaching in the verse Gal. 4:25 if we interpret it correctly. https://www.holylandsite.com/exodus-redsea-sinai

Why do we get into trouble too?

  It's the only way we get to know how sensitive, self-loving and pampered we really are! We really need endurance and patience to reach that wonderful part of the saved in heaven to which we have been called! 
Hebr. 6:11-12 >>11 But we passionately want each of you to demonstrate the same eagerness for the fulfillment of your hope until the end, 12 so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and perseverance inherit the promises.<< 

  I remembered an originally Russian lyrical song (Vladimir Vysotsky) "Song about a friend", where the words in Finnish go like this at the end: "How do you know a friend, is he the right one for you? It's the hardest times to find out who will stay by your side..." The song seems merciless at first, but however, it has an important message. Namely, the fact that even a marriage will not last unless both parties are prepared for the fact that there will be great times of trials and tribulations in life. The message also suits our other friends.

  Note that the message of the song also fits perfectly with our relationship with Adonai Yeshua! He is the only person (Son of Man) who will never leave us alone with our problems, even if other people abandon us. "Friends die and times change, A faithful and Eternal friend remains!" Can you also rejoice in suffering?

  In order for us to learn to rejoice even in difficulties, we must brush up and be hardened in faith, and that lesson will come before us only in the final exam of Calvary University. We cannot rejoice in difficulties unless we understand the reasons why we are brought into them.

  We are eventually brought to a situation where all our own strength is not enough, and not even our friends can help. Furthermore, society's safety nets fail and the only one we can get help from is the Son of Man, Yeshua HaMashiach! It is good to prepare for this in advance, because he taught about it like this: Matt. 11:27-30

>>27 All things have been handed over to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son decides to reveal him. 28 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke on you and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and my load is not hard to carry."<< 


Have you ever been completely powerless?

  I've been sometimes so tired, that I haven't been able to do even any kind everyday chores, even though I've wanted to. Such as cleaning, laundry and going to the grocery store. I haven't even been able to rest. Then the only way to get strength has been to pray while resting on a bed or in a chair, and gradually strength has poured out on me from a height so that I have recovered sufficiently and managed to get up again and do the chores in question.

  If you experience unexplained fatigue, such that all your strength is gone and you need a touch from above to reach your spiritual balance, then it may be that you are being stripped and emptied of your own strength so that you can be clothed with new strength from on high! Isaiah 40:30-31

>>30 Even youths get tired and weary; even strong young men clumsily stumble. 31 But those who wait for Adonai's (Yeshua's) help find renewed strength; they rise up as if they had eagles' wings, they run without growing weary, they walk without getting tired.<<

Have you noticed the following?

  The apostle Paul wrote one of the most beautiful definitions of true agape love when he was in great tribulation (1 Cor. 13). Even the most beautiful Psalms, Lamentations and Spiritual songs have been inspired by the Holy Spirit, often in circumstances where a person has been in extreme distress and seemingly completely without hope.   The story goes that the German preacher, stag, who was living alone, received that song sometime in the 19th century, when was returning from his preaching trip one winter evening to his house in the middle of the forest. An inconsolable sight awaited him: His house had burned (possibly burned to the ground?) to its foundations, and the last plume of smoke was rising towards the starry sky.

  All his possessions had been burned and just as he was about to throw himself down into the snow and cry, the breaking power of heavenly love in the Holy Spirit came upon him and through his mouth came that wonderful song! He wrote it down and realized that the last tie to this world had been severed and that he was being followed from heaven and comforted that he has a better fortune and house stored up there that no one can destroy!

Let us not always rest!

  After we have rested properly and been renewed by the invigorating influence of the Holy Spirit, let us rush to the spiritual battlefield, because this world is not a resting place for us, but a battlefield until our last breath! About this Adonai Yeshua wrote like this: John 15:5-9

Man was created completely dependent on the help of his Creator

during his earthly life and after that eternal life without exception.

What is meant by firewall in the Bible?

  In the case of a computer, we are talking about a firewall that prevents cunning enemies from accessing the computer's contents and, if they wish, from destroying it completely. In the Bible, it means the supernatural protection of the saints of the Most High from all kinds of evil influences and attacks regarding their body, soul, family and property.

  A reference to it can also be found in the Book of Revelation: Rev. 20:9 
>>They went up on the broad plain of the earth and encircled the camp of the saints and the beloved city (Jerusalem), but fire came down from heaven and devoured them completely.<< 


Can we pray for a wall of fire to protect us?

  We can, and I have always done so when I have felt that a surprise attack from the space of the sky is coming soon. From there, the Devil and his troops make war against all of us saints of the Most High, e.g. by shooting burning arrows into our souls, thus trying to make us at least paralyzed or incapacitated in our spiritual war against all evil.

  If we see one of our neighbors being oppressed by evil spirit forces, we should pray for help from above and the fire wall of the Holy Spirit for protection. I do not understand such Christians and Messianic believers of the Most High who fly to a sun resort in the summer or travel to summer cottages or hotels to pamper their flesh and blood bodies, which they should consider dead to sin and all its lusts!

  Instead, they should pray and fast in this evil age of darkness, so that their families, relatives and all their close acquaintances will awaken to seek salvation for their souls while they still have time to seek and that the message of salvation will spread globally like wildfire! The length of their search period is also carefully regulated, and it can end for some already in their youth, depending on how they have reacted to the Holy Spirit's gracious call to salvation or even to salvation calls.


What is meant by rhḗma words?

  The Greek word rhḗma simply means "any spoken word," but I am dealing with it here in the sense of "divine and creative," like another Greek word, logos, which also refers to a person, our Savior.

  They are words that contain spirit and life. They are creative words. We can best understand their meaning from the following words of our Saviour John 6:63
>>The Spirit is the one who gives life; human nature is of no help! The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.<< 

  The following confession given by the apostle Peter also confirms how important the words and teachings given by our Savior to his disciples (and to our) are John 6:68-69
>>68 Simon Peter answered him, "Adonai, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of Elohim!"<<

  The entire universe, including the heavens and the heavens of heavens, are created by rhḗma words. We should be filled with the very words that Adonai Yeshua gave to us, to all believers in him, through his teachings and declarations. When we then start to implement them in practice, we will notice that they contain supernatural creative power.

  We can never overestimate the words our Savior gave us His disciples! That is why we should hide them in our hearts as our most precious treasures! John 17:5-10

>>5 And now, Father, glorify me at your side with the glory I had with you before the world was created. 6 "I have revealed your name to the men you gave me out of the world. They belonged to you, and you gave them to me, and they have obeyed your word.

7 Now they understand that everything you have given me comes from you, 8 because I have given them the words you have given me. They accepted them and really understand that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.

9 I am praying on behalf of them. I am not praying on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those you have given me, because they belong to you. 10 Everything I have belongs to you, and everything you have belongs to me, and I have been glorified by them.<< 


What does the gift of faith mean?

  It's not that someone or some people believe the message of salvation proclaimed to them, although that too is by grace and not by merit. I mean instead the gift of grace mentioned in the verse 1 Cor. 12:9 >>to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit,<<

  I had a supernatural experience a long time ago (1980) when the Holy Spirit led me to use the rhḗma words through the gift of faith I had previously received. I needed a car because I lived in Helsinki at the time and my workplace was in Espoo, where it was difficult to get there by public transport in the early 1980s.

 That's why I prayed for a suitable car for me just once and described exactly what kind of car I wanted. The condition was that I get it absolutely free. I decided to give thanks for it every day for one month and then leave it completely to my Savior.

 Although I didn't say a word to my believing friends at the time that I had prayed for such a thing, a month later I was gifted with just such a suitable car through a believing man I knew. I got a car completely free of charge, which was easy to park on the narrow streets of Helsinki, and the car was in really good condition, even though it was little used. HalleluYah!

Reflections on Shabat, 12th July 2024

 

I saw two different dreams this week. The first one on 7.7. at 7 a.m. and 

the second one on July 8. at 10 a.m. I've also seen strange dreams before!

Why are we shown prophetic dreams?

  They are important announcements of what is to be expected of man, nations and the whole of humanity. Yehowah does not want to leave us in the dark about what is soon to come. At the same time, he helps us detach ourselves from worldly things and direct our interest to heavenly, eternal things. We are all on our way to eternity.


Prophetic dream 7.7. at 7 a.m.

  Before going to bed, I felt that the Holy Spirit was strongly present and I knew how to expect something special at night. Therefore, through faith, I cleansed myself thoroughly in the blood of Adonai Yeshua and prayed for a wall of fire of the Holy Spirit around me and around my apartment all night, because I knew from experience that the Devil always tries to prevent prophetic dreams.

  In my dream, I admired the clear starry sky at midnight. Surprisingly, huge symbols appeared in the middle of it: a bright white cross on the lower left and a huge white dove on the right side. (See picture) The white cross symbolizes our redemption and the white dove the Holy Spirit, which is given as a seal to those chosen for salvation.

  A pattern the amazing great celestial structure appeared above them surrounded as it were by a white, oval circle consisting of a transparent vapor cloud, and in the middle of it shone a bright, golden Kingdom of Heaven, illuminating the entire night sky!

  I knew it was the Kingdom of Heaven because I heard the Spirit reveal it. Also, he said, "Leif, you should really race to get there!" I saw in the Kingdom of Heaven, very far away, huge buildings, about which Adonai Yeshua told his disciples John 14:2 This promise applies to all who believe in Him. >>"In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you (that) I go to prepare a place for you."<<

  Adonai Yeshua taught the following about the Kingdom of Elohim: Luke 17:20-21
>>20 Now at one point the Pharisees asked Yeshua when the Kingdom of Elohim was coming, so he answered, "The Kingdom of Elohim is not coming with signs to be observed, 21 nor will they say, 'Look, here it is!' or 'There!' For indeed, the Kingdom of Elohim is in your midst."<< 
  The Kingdom of Heaven means the same as the Kingdom of Elohim. When we talk about the Kingdom of Heaven, we try to avoid using the name 'Elohim'.

  The following was also taught by Adonai Yeshua to Nicodemus regarding entering the Kingdom of Elohim (i.e. Kingdom of Heaven) John 3:3-8 

>>"3 Yeshua replied, "I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born from above, he cannot see the Kingdom of Elohim." 4 Nicodemus said to him, "How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter his mother's womb and be born a second time, can he?"

5 Yeshua answered, "I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born of water and spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of Elohim. 6 What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 Do not be amazed that I said to you, 'You must all be born from above.' 8 The wind blows wherever it will, and you hear the sound it makes, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.""<<

  From verses 3 and 5 we see that only a certain part of people who meet certain conditions can see and enter the Kingdom of Elohim. Others are left out! Therefore, it is extremely important to proclaim this truth in all Christian and Messianic congregations, because the eternal final destination of every human being depends on it!  


Prophetic dream 8.7. at 10 a.m.

  The very next evening, too, I felt as if I was going to see something prophetic, because before going to bed I felt that a very powerful Spirit of Revelation was upon me. Therefore, I consciously cleansed my mind, my subconscious, my heart and my entire brain function and soul in the blood of Adonai Yeshua. In addition, I prayed for a wall of fire of the Holy Spirit around me and around my apartment.

  Still, it was unusually difficult to sleep at night and numerous distant memories came to my mind one after the other and kept me awake for hours. I realized that it was the Devil's strategy to try to keep me from falling asleep so that I wouldn't be able to see the prophetic dream that was coming. That's why I commanded with powerful words in Yeshua's name all those unnecessary and disturbing thoughts down to the depths!

  I fell asleep very late in the morning. In the dream, I was participating in a meeting of the management team and I was sitting opposite the big window and I could see the cloudless and bright midday view in the direction of Turku, my town of residence. My workplace was located about 10 km northeast of the center of Turku, where I live.

  It was late summer and suddenly, far away on the horizon, a strange mushroom-shaped statue began to rise into the sky. I said to Esa, who was currently reporting on product sales: "Look how huge and strange-looking the cloud is rising into the sky!"
 

  He answered: "There are many kinds of clouds." At first I wondered if it was a huge thundercloud, but because there was no thunder in the forecast and that cloud just swelled and its lower part was thick and shining bright fire. Three separate rings formed around it. It couldn't have been a tornado, because they don't occur at all in Finland. Then I saw a large black upright hand at the base of the pillar of fire as if in warning.

  I told Esa and the other members of the management team, "It must be a detonated nuclear bomb, because a big black man's hand appeared in front of that fiery pillar of fire as a warning to us." They just wondered about it, not saying a word. I wondered if it was a big Russian nuclear bomb? 

  Russian Dictator Putin has been threatening to take military measures against Finland for years and has incited hatred towards Finns, just as he incited towards Ukrainians before the attack on it. In addition, he seriously warned Finland against joining NATO. The big black hand in a dream reminded me of a Bible verse: Isaiah 5:25

>>So Yehowah is furious with his people; he lifts his hand and strikes them. The mountains shake, and corpses lie like manure in the middle of the streets. Despite all this, his anger does not subside, and his hand is ready to strike again.<< 


About the destruction of the world's cities

  In the Book of Revelation, there is a prophecy that in the punishment that will befall the whole earth, the cities of the world will be destroyed, except Jerusalem, because it is the city of the Great King. This great destruction will take place after all the saints of the Most High chosen for salvation have first been taken up to meet Adonai Yeshua in the upper air. Rev. 16:19

>>The great city (Jerusalem?) was split into three parts and the cities of the nations collapsed. And Babylon (Rome) the great was remembered before Elohim, and was given the cup filled with the wine made of Elohim's furious wrath.<< However, Jerusalem will be severely punished. It will still not be destroyed, like all other nations' cities.

  There is no unequivocal answer to how other cities will be destroyed. I assume that the largest cities will be destroyed in a nuclear war, some by an asteroid, comet or meteorite, some by huge tsunamis due to the explosion of super volcanoes, and the rest, like Sodom and Gomorrah, by a shower of flint. 

  According to that prophetic dream, Turku town will be destroyed by a nuclear bomb, and I'm not surprised at all, because such gross sins have been committed in this town over the decades, and year by year the town's inhabitants increase the number of sins, until Yehowah Elohim has to punish its inhabitants already because of Sodom and Gomorrah.

  If a nuclear bomb is detonated in the center of Turku, its destructive effect will be enormous! Of the town's more than 200,000 inhabitants, more than 95% live within a radius of about 8 km, and in addition, about 55,000 people live in the neighboring municipalities (Raisio and Kaarina, etc.). I've told before about my old prophetic dream (1973) that according to it, Helsinki will be destroyed with two nuclear bombs.

  As for other European cities, according to my profetic dreams, German cities**) will be completely destroyed, the Russians have never forgiven the Germans for the siege of Leningrad and the starvation and painful death of tens of thousands of Russians in 1941-44 (872 days). It has been considered the most brutal siege of a major city in European history.

**)  It is interesting that when I lived in Gothenburg, in 1986, I saw in a profetic dream the unification of the then East and West Germany already 4 years in advance. Germany was united on October 3, 1990. I saw at the same dream how the entire land area of ​​the united Germany began to burn all over like a sea of ​​fire and the flames rose high into the sky.

  I also saw the destruction of Stockholm in 1987. It was bombed into ruins. I don't think I saw those prophetic dreams as nightmares, and they are not the product of my own soul or the output of my subconscious, because I did not dream, and I did not will the destruction of any person or nation!

I saw 9.7. and 10.7 prophetic dreams too

  However, they were privately just for me, so I won't tell others about them. Since I rediscovered the spiritual truth of how to be able to see prophetic dreams, I urge all readers to think carefully about these conditions, based on which they too can see that kind of dreams and be built through them, as well as build others. How should we evaluate prophetic dreams?

  We should compare them with the prophecies given in the Bible, the current situation and examine them in the Holy Spirit, specifically using "the ability to judge between the spirits", which has been given to us as a gift of grace for that as well. 1 Cor. 12:10c. If we are convinced that the prophetic dream is a genuine warning, we must tell it to the appointed people, as written in Hes. 3:18

>>When I say to the wicked, "You will certainly die," and you do not warn him - you do not speak out to warn the wicked to turn from his wicked deed and wicked lifestyle so that he may live - that wicked person will die for his iniquity, but I will hold you accountable for his death.<<
  Please, tell it lovingly and gently, because they too are beloved of Yehowah Elohim!

Reflections on Shabat, 5th July 2024

  There is a way that seems right to a person, but its end is the way that leads to death. (Prov. 14:12) Lest we all perish, Yeshua HaMashiach came from heaven to show us the way of Salvation, which means following his teachings and to know him intimately as a person. (John 14:6)

Where did we come into the world?

  Science cannot give a reasoned answer to that, but through faith in the revelation of the Bible, we can trust that our Creator has created us for the purpose he wants. So we are basically lost and we strive to get clarity on the real reason and meaning of our life and existence.

  Too many people are content to follow the people of their reference group like herd animals, and don't spend much time thinking about their existence. I think it would be wiser to honestly state that many things have gone fundamentally wrong in humanity. It is too naive to blame other people for the many things we are all guilty of.

  Although not all of us are guilty of brutal violence, stealing, the pursuit of money and self-respect or other numerous extremely bad deeds. Each of us is still guilty of setting many bad goals for ourselves at the expense of other people. The whole business life is based on getting rich at the expense of customers.

  From the beginning, human life is like choosing one's own path in different stages of our life. Of course, it matters a lot what country and what kind of family we are born into, because living conditions and choices are very different. You often hear it said that it is a lottery win to be born in a rich western country.

  That is what it is, but it also makes us responsible for the poor in developing countries and those who have become refugees for various reasons, who strive to save their own lives to move away from the misery and persecution of their homeland to freer nations and conditions. Unfortunately, many rich Western countries treat them with disdain.  


Why are we really here?

  According to the revelation of the New Testament, all people who are born of the will of flesh and blood are born under original sin. In that state, they are all truly on their way to perdition, eternal separation from their Creator. They wander lost without a purpose and a goal in their lives. They are like sheep without a shepherd.

  Just for us and for those like us, our dear heavenly Father has seen fit already in eternity to prepare a perfect opportunity to be saved by believing in the only begotten Son whom he sent, named Yeshua HaMashiach, who was born here by his will as an otherwise ordinary human being, except that he did not sin at all.

  We are only on this beautiful planet temporarily so that each of us can choose to believe in our Savior Yeshua or reject him and have to survive on our own. It is an irreversible disaster to reject Yeshua as Savior and resort to our own works because they are all unclean and unworthy in the eyes of our Creator.

We must definitely choose the right way!

  While witnessing on the streets, I have heard several different explanations for why people cannot believe in the Creator revealed in the Bible. The majority of respondents claim after reading the Bible, or part of it, that the Creator it reveals is so cruel that they don't want to have anything to do with him, because he will throw so many people into hell.

 They have not understood at all the Salvation message, which is a genuine good news for all people: "Every person who believes in his heart that Yeshua HaMashiach is Adonai and confesses him with his mouth as his Adonai, will be saved!" Man receives salvation as a gift from our Creator's unfathomable grace, without any merit of his own!

 They don't even believe that the very same Creator who was first tortured almost to death and then nailed naked to a cross to hang in terrible agony for six long hours before dying, was their Creator, Yeshua HaMashiach! This is evident from the Tanakh and the Writings of the New Testament. We read four passages from it:

Jes. 52:l3-15 >>13 "Look, my servant will succeed! He will be elevated, lifted high, and greatly exalted - 14 (just as many were horrified by the sight of you) he was so disfigured he no longer looked like a man; 15 his form was so marred he no longer looked human - so now he will startle many nations. Kings will be shocked by his exaltation, for they will witness something unannounced to them, and they will understand something they had not heard about.<< Adonai Yeshua was our substitute sacrifice before our heavenly Father while nailed to the cross.

Ps. 110:1 >>A psalm of David. Here is Yehowah's proclamation to my Adonai: "Sit down at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool!"<< In the verse, the Father tells his Son that he will put his enemies under his feet.

John 1:10-11 >>10 He was in the world, and the world was created by him, but the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to what was his own, but his own people did not receive him.<< Adonai Yeshua had no obligation to come among people to be mocked, tortured, nailed to a cross. He came here to save us because he loved us, the works of his hands, so much and still does! He really loves all people!

Hebr. 1:1-3 >>1 After Elohim spoke long ago in various portions and in various ways to our ancestors through the prophets, 2 in these last days he has spoken to us in a son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he created the worlds.*)  3 The Son is the radiance of his glory and the representation of his essence, and he sustains all things by his powerful word, and so when he had accomplished cleansing for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.<<

*) The words "through whom he created the worlds" can also be translated "through whom he created the ages". Those "ages" include the days of all people's lives from Adam to the death of the last person on earth.

  There is only one way to the glory of heaven and we must choose it as the Bible teaches. Other roads should be abandoned. It makes no sense to walk with the spirit of darkness of this world and the ways it offers, because they all lead the people to eternal separation from our Creator. They will take you to a place of eternal suffering, hell!

 
We must be born again from above

  This can only happen by believing in the name of our Heavenly Father's Son: Yeshua HaMashiach. Then the miracle of new birth takes place, about which the apostle John wrote: John 1:11-13
>>11 He (Yeshua) came to what was his own, but his own people did not receive him. 12 But to all who have received him - those who believe in his name - he has given the right to become Elohim's children 13 - children not born by human parents or by human desire or a husband's decision, but by Elohim.<< The name to believe is Yeshua HaMashiach, And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among people by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)

  All the descendants of Adam and Eve, except Eve's descendant Yeshua HaMashiach, are born under original sin and unless they accept Adonai Yeshua in faith, they will be deprived of the opportunity and power to become children of Elohim. Then they cannot enter the kingdom of heaven, for unclean flesh and blood cannot inherit it.

  That is why Yeshua HaMashiach is the only way to our heavenly Father in the glory of heaven. Numerous world religions lead billions of people astray by promising them salvation or rebirth as, for example, an animal. According to NT, that is not true, but we live here only once! After that we will be judged: Hebr. 9:27-28

>>27 And just as people are appointed to die once, and then to face judgment, 28 so also, after HaMashiach was offered once to bear the sins of many, to those who eagerly await him he will appear a second time, not to bear sin but to bring salvation.<<
