Reflections on Shabat, January 31, 2025



  How can we distinguish the Third World War (WW3) from other end-time wars? We cannot but say that it must be at least as widespread and more destructive than the previous ones. We find wars that meet those criteria in Bible prophecies, and they always relate to Israel and Jerusalem, which are attacked by many armies of pagan nations. Since the prophecies are very old, 2000 years or even older, it is understandable that they use expressions about weapons that are consistent with the vocabulary and armament of that time. However, the destruction of the war and the injuries to people show, that weapons comparable to nuclear weapons will be used.


Other prophecies that I refer to at the bottom of the image

A) Zech. 14:1-7 According to this, the armies of all the Gentile nations will attack Jerusalem. The remaining verses of the passage refer to the return of Adonai Yeshua to the Mount of Olives (Gog's war).
>>1 Behold, the day of Yehowah comes, and your spoil shall be divided among you. 2 For I will gather all the nations*) to battle against Jerusalem. And the city shall be captured, and the houses plundered, and the women ravished. And half the city shall go into exile and the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city. / *) This refers to the armies of many pagan nations.

3 And Yehowah shall go out and fight against those nations, like the day He fought in the day of battle. 4 And His feet shall stand in that day on the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives shall divide from its middle, from the east even to the west, a very great valley. And half of the mountain shall move toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

5 And you shall flee to the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal. And you shall flee as you fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah, king of Judah. And Yehowah my Elohim shall come, and all the saints with You. 6 And it will be in that day, there shall not be light; the glorious ones will shrink. 7 And it will be, one day which shall be known to Yehowah; not day and not night, but it will be, there will be light at evening time.<<


B) Joel 2:18-20 (verse 20 is the translation according to CJB, but there are other interpretations of the seas). This prophecy also can refer to Gog's war(?)
>>18 Then Yehowah will be jealous for His land and have pity on His people. 19 Yea, Yehowah will answer and say to His people, Behold, I will send you grain, and wine, and oil, and you shall be satisfied with it. And I will no more make you a curse among the nations.

20 I will remove one from the north (the coming army), which is far from you. I will drive him out into a dry and desolate place. Those in front will be driven east to the Dead Sea and those behind will be driven west to the Mediterranean Sea. And a stench will rise from it, a bad smell will rise. For it has attempted great things.<<


C) Rev. 12:7-9 This may refer to the same war as Isaiah 24:21 (read the top of the image)
>>7 And war occurred in Heaven, Michael and his angels making war against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels made war, 8 but they did not have strength, nor yet was place found for them in Heaven.

9 And the great dragon was cast out, the old serpent being called Devil, and, Satan; he deceiving the whole habitable world was cast out onto the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.<<


D) Rev. 19:19-20 This may also refer to the same war as Isaiah 24:21 (read the top of the picture)
>>19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth, and their armies being assembled to make war with the One (Adonai Yeshua) sitting on the horse, and with His army. 20 And the beast was seized, and with this one the false prophet doing signs before it, by which he led astray those having received the mark of the beast, and those worshiping its image. The two were thrown alive into the Lake of Fire burning with brimstone.<<


No war breaks out without the order of Yehowah Elohim!

  Although many today teach that the Devil is able to start wars against the will of Yehowah, they are 100% wrong, because Yehow'ah Elohim is Sovereign also in the beginning of wars. We know from the Bible that the whole world is under the power of the evil Devil, but we also know that the Devil and his angels are completely under the power of Yehowah Elohim.

  Yehowah ordained the length of Israel's slavery in Egypt so that on the very day when the ordained 430 years had passed, all Israel left Egypt to travel towards the promised land. Likewise, he has predetermined the stages of the history of nations with at least an hour's accuracy. We see this from the Book of Revelation, written ~ 1900 years ago: Rev. 9:13-15

>>13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before Elohim, 14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. 15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.<<

  The Book of Revelation is Yehowah Elohim's announcement of the end-time events: Rev. 1:1-3. According to verse 9:15, that terrible destruction will begin to happen in the very hour, month, and year determined by Yehowah. History does not know a situation in the last 1900 years in which 1/3 of humanity would have been destroyed. If that were to happen now, about 2.7 billion people out of a population of over 8 billion would be destroyed!


Yehowah does not foretell the exact times when wars will begin

  There are at least two valid reasons for this: 1) Then his adversary the Devil would know how to be vigilant and would be able to put some 'sticks in the cart'. 2) Then people would not always be vigilant and strive to live a life consecrated to Him, but because of the weakness of their flesh would they gradually begin to live at least partially according to their fleshly desires.

  When we are always vigilant, we will hear from him through the Holy Spirit revelations concerning our own lives and, if necessary, the fate of our people as an exhortation and warning of upcoming events. That has happened to me too. I have seen prophecies and heard His voice several times concerning the future of Israel, Finland, Sweden and Germany!

  I would prefer to receive comforting and pleasant messages to share with others. Unfortunately, they come less and less often, because the nations are sinking deeper and deeper into sin! Adonai Yeshua entrusted me with a wonderful prophecy to take to Tallinn when I visited the Baptists in 1980. Oh, how I rejoiced over it on my Bible smuggling trip. The Baptists found it difficult to believe the prophecy!

  I received a prophecy in my heart about Estonia's imminent independence! It came true 11 years later. Tears of joy began to flow from my eyes, because I knew what atrocities the Soviet repressive machine had committed against the brotherly people of Finland, exploiting, torturing and killing them since 1940. Will nations fight other wars before WW3?

  There have been several of them since WW2, such as Vietnam, Afghanistan, Libya, Serbia and in the Persian Gulf against Iraq. Israel has fought defensive wars in 1948, 1967, 1973, 1982 and 2006. In addition, against Hamas terrorists in Gaza and against Hezbollah in Lebanon and Syria. Russia is currently waging an offensive war against Ukraine.

  However, they cannot be called WW3, because they have not been widespread enough. However, there is now a clear escalation between the Russian bloc (Russia-China-North Korea-Iran) and the NATO countries regarding the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, which has lasted almost 3 years and oh, what bloodshed and pain it has caused!

  
A war between NATO countries and the Russian bloc?

  The current tense situation could soon escalate into WW3. The reason has been Ukraine, which Russia is trying to take over. Surprisingly extensive sanctions have been imposed on Russia and an attempt has been made to bankrupt it economically so that it would not be able to continue the war. As a result, Russia has switched to a war economy and its citizens have seen a decline in living standards that is only getting steeper.

  Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has repeatedly threatened to use his large nuclear arsenal if NATO countries give Ukraine long-range missiles that can reach Moscow and major Russian cities. Recently, some NATO countries have given Ukraine long-range missiles and have promised more if peace does not come. Increasing war is unlikely never to bring peace!

  What I find most interesting is how the new German government will react to the fact that the Ukrainian leadership has long been asking for 5.1 m Taurus missiles, which can reach Moscow and are difficult to intercept and have great destructive power. The current German leadership has only promised give to Ukraine 4000 war drones as 'mini-Taurus'.

  The SPD coalition government led by Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz collapsed at the end of last year. New elections are scheduled for February 23, 2025. The SDP could lose and the opposition could form a government. Then the start of WW3 will be another step closer.

  If the Christian Democrats CDU and the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD), for which Elon Musk has been heavily campaigning, win the election and form a government, then that new government has promised to provide Ukraine with enough of those 5.1 m long Taurus missiles, which Olaf Scholz has not agreed to provide for understandable reasons.

Then WW3 will probably soon break out!

  Namely, if Germany gets a government from opposition parties, which includes the far right (AfD). If that really happens and Ukraine fires a 5.1 m Taurus missile at e.g. Moscow, Kazan or St. Petersburg, then I believe that it will be just a step towards Russia firing several medium-range in revenge nuclear missiles at many cities in Germany! Then NATO countries may retaliate to Russia with nuclear weapons and what will China do then?

  I saw a dream prediction of the destruction of a united Germany already in 1986. That is, already 4 years before the unification of Germany.   If that really happens, then Yehowah himself will take revenge on Germany for the brutal Holocaust it organized against the Jews in 1933-45, using Russia as its weapon! Then it is likely that the war will soon expand to the Middle East. Russia will receive its judgment when it attacks Israel with its allies, which will then be the so-called Gog's war, the consequences of which the Bible has already told us in detail!


We must now really pray in Spirit and Truth!

  All of us, peace-loving disciples of Adonai Yeshua, pray that WW3 does not break out yet! If Yehowah thinks it is time for it to break out soon, in the way I have guessed above, let us be ready, because from many other signs we can see that the sinful nations of the world are already ripe for judgment!

Reflections on Shabat, January 24, 2025



  Many mass graves of war dead testify to the destruction caused by worldly weapons of war. May we, believers in Yeshua, not be involved in such wars! The exodus of the people of Israel from slavery in Egypt is in many ways a model for us believers in the New Covenant. Likewise, we have been called out of slavery to the prince of this world, the Devil, and to rely solely on Adonai Yeshua the Mashiach in everything. Our weapons are not physical but spiritual. We should not wage war with worldly weapons, but with the weapons given by the Holy Spirit.


Nations can be freed from slavery without deadly weapons

  According to history, the British colonial rule in India killed 165 million people. A figure that exceeds the total number of deaths in both world wars, including the Nazi Holocaust.

  India was liberated from that murderous embrace of Britain through active passive resistance. They refused to fight and obey their occupiers! Years of non-violent resistance to British rule led by Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and others finally led to India's independence in 1947.

  We see from the above that even ordinary passive resistance can lead to liberation from the yoke of violence. It may take many years, but with the grace of the Almighty it will eventually produce the desired result. How much more will the Almighty be willing and able to help us, the saints of the New Covenant, if we do not fight against our enemies with earthly weapons!


What are heavenly spiritual weapons like?

Some of them is told.  During Old Covenant happened the following: 2 Chr. 20:14-17

>>14 Then in the midst of the assembly, the Adonai's Spirit came upon Jachaziel son of Zechariah, son of Benaiah, son of Jeiel, son of Mattaniah, a Levite and descendant of Asaph. 15 He said: "Pay attention, all you people of Judah, residents of Jerusalem, and King Jehoshaphat! This is what the Adonai says to you: 'Don't be afraid and don't panic because of this huge army! For the battle is not yours, but Elohim's.

16 Tomorrow march down against them as they come up the Ascent of Ziz. You will find them at the end of the ravine in front of the Desert of Jeruel. 17 You will not fight in this battle. Take your positions, stand, and watch the Adonai deliver you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Don't be afraid and don't panic! Tomorrow march out toward them; the Adonai is with you!'<<

  And so it happened, for the attackers killed one another to the last man, after the Israelites first began to praise Yehowah: 2 Chr. 20:21-24

  We find another example from the time of King Hezekiah in Kingdom of Judah, when his army was faced with an enemy that was completely superior to his: 2 Kings 19:35-36

>>35 That very night the angel of Yehowah went out and killed 185,000 men in the Assyrian camp. When they got up early the next morning, there were all the corpses. 36 So King Sennacherib of Assyria broke camp and went on his way. He went home and stayed in Nineveh.<<

  Since Yehowah saved earthly Israel, who relied on him alone for help, when attacked by a superior enemy, how much more will he help us, the saints of the New Covenant, believers in Adonai Yeshua! Today, Adonai Yeshua has all power in Heaven and on Earth! He has given us, his believers the most precious promises, he earned with his own blood on the Calvary: Matt. 18:19

>>Again, I tell you the truth, if two of you on earth agree about whatever you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you.<<


Some NT commandments prohibit all use of violence

  There are many teachings of Adonai Yeshua and here are five of them for us, to his disciples: (But if you have not born again through the Holy Spirit, you can't understand any of these!)

1) Matt. 5:38-39 
>>38 "You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.' 39 But I say to you, do not resist the evildoer. But whoever strikes you on the right cheek, turn the other to him as well.<<

2) Matt. 5:43-45 >>43 "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor' and 'hate your enemy.' 44 But I say to you, love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be like your Father in heaven, since he causes the sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.<<

3) Matt. 7:12 
>>In everything, treat others as you would want them to treat you, for this fulfills the law and the prophets.<<

4) Luke 6:35 
>>But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons (or daughters) of the Most High, because he is kind to ungrateful and evil people.<<

5) Matt. 26:52
>>Then Yeshua said to him, "Put your sword back in its place! For all who take hold of the sword will die by the sword.<<

  The armor listed by the apostle Paul does not include any earthly weapons, but all of them are spiritual! Ephes. 6:12-13...(Read also the full context, verses 10-18)
>>12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens. 13 For this reason, take up the full armor of Elohim so that you may be able to stand your ground on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand.<<

  The very important warning from our Father Yehowah Elohim to everyone of us: Rev. 13:10
>>If anyone leads into captivity, into captivity he himself will go; if anyone kills with the sword, with the sword he must be killed. Here is the patience and faith of the saints.<< 
Note that: This verse is correctly translated from the Greek Textus Receptus NT! In the most Bible translations, this verse has been falsified, to justify and approve of warfare!

  All believers in Yeshua, who do not believe in his omnipotence even in times of war, are permitted to take up earthly weapons to defend themselves, their neighbors, and their homeland, but if they are obedient to the above-mentioned commandments, they and their loved ones will be spared much evil! They will then see and experience the promised help of our Creator for them.


Why nations yet nowadays make war against each others?
  
  Of the slightly more than 8 billion people in the world, 2.63 billion, or almost 1/3, were Christians in 2024. Of these, according to my estimate, only a fraction, perhaps 1/100, or only 26.3 million, were born again and filled with the Holy Spirit! *), **) and ***) The majority of them live in Western democracies, where the majority, i.e. pagans and nominal Christians, decide on warfare.

  Therefore, it is understandable that if, for example, the USA, Israel and Finland were to unilaterally decide to completely abolish their armies, the possessed pagan nations would very soon take over their countries and, at best, make them 'merely' slaves! We therefore live in a world where the forces of evil currently rule all nations, regardless of their form of government.

>>23 Someone asked him, "Adonai, will only a few be saved?" So he said to them, 24 "Exert every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.

25 Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, then you will stand outside and start to knock on the door and beg him, 'Adonai, let us in!' But he will answer you, 'I don't know where you come from.'

26 Then you will begin to say, 'We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.' 27 But he will reply, 'I don't know where you come from! Go away from me, all you evildoers!'<<

"Though your sins have stained you like the color red, you can become white like snow; though they are as easy to see as the color scarlet, you can become white like wool. 19 If you have a willing attitude and obey, then you will again eat the good crops of the land. 20 But if you refuse and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword." Know for certain that the Yehowah has spoken.<<

>>12 Wherefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 For it is Elohim which works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.<<


A 1000-year period of peace is about to begin

  Then the Prince of Peace, Yeshua Mashiach, will bring peace to all nations. But before that, the Third World War will break out, and for the next Shabat I will be picking up prophecies about it from the Bible, the Old and New Testaments.

Reflections on Shabat, January 17, 2025



  In the West, we are now living in an era where adults appear unruly on numerous social media channels, so it is not surprising that children and young people take their example! It is wrong to blame children and young people if their parents have not advised them at all to live in a way that takes into account all their relatives and have allowed them to devour the filth of social media.

  I understand that many parents of children are exhausted by the heavy workload, because this era excessively strains people's mental capacity compared to previous eras and therefore they are required to use their time wisely and show greater love for their children. Especially for women as mothers, the demands of this era in paid work and at home are very stressful.


Undisciplined children become cruel rulers
  
 If all parents had really raised their children to respect the Creator and all other people, humanity would have been spared such tyrants as Adolf Hitler, Josif Stalin, Attila the Hun, emperor Caligula, Ivan the Terrible, Timur (Tamerlane), Vlad the Impaler, Idi Amin, to name just a few. Instead of them, equally wicked ones could have ascended to the throne, because all of humanity has become totally corrupted. The following link doesn't tell the whole truth:


What are the benefits of proper discipline?

  Many animal populations have a clear hierarchy and strict discipline. This is evident in monkey and wolf packs, and chickens have a clear pecking order. Proper discipline is even a condition for survival in animal populations and is taught as early as the chick stage. The same important fact is more necessary in all human populations, because humans have a greater ability to do evil when undisciplined.

  Every person is born wild and self-centered as a child. Therefore, he needs loving advice on what is permissible and what is not. People who are properly instructed in the ways of living happily from childhood often receive praise and compliments from their understanding neighbors. In addition, they are more successful in their studies and in their working life than undisciplined ones.

  Wise parents know how to reward their children when they notice that they are even, as it were, surpassing themselves in their efforts to live in a way that takes others into account. Therefore, parents should always be attentive to their children and also guide them on what their children should follow on the numerous channels on social media. Children will understand if the matter is explained to them clearly.

  Parents should be very careful about the kind of friends their children spend their free time with. If a child is enticed by older, unruly youth to first use alcohol, then drugs, smoke, steal and have premarital sex, the greatest responsibility always lies with their parents! In schools, children learn to be unruly.

  This is because teachers no longer have the legal authority to maintain healthy discipline among their students. Unruliness is also rampant because students in the upper grades of schools try to take advantage of students in the lower grades in various ways by selling them tobacco, drugs and teaching them how to steal products from shops while they are underage.

  I remember how, back in the 1970s, a mother was horrified by the words of her preschool-aged, 4-year-old son when she asked him why his clothes smelled like cigarettes. The child replied: "All the kids in the playschool these days smoke!" However, the most shocking incident also happened back in the 1970s when I was handing out Christian flyers on the street in the center of Helsinki in the summer:

  A small group of boys came towards me, about 6 children, aged 6...12. They all laughed at me and made fun of me. As I watched them pass by with pity, about 50 m away the youngest of them ran up to me and hugged me, cried and put his arms around my hips and said: "Do I have any hope left, because I have often inhaled thinner and my brain is ruined?"

  Oh, how that would tear my heart! I assured the child that there was still hope, because Jesus came into the world to save sinners. I told him that Jesus wanted and could save and heal him too. I advised him to leave that circle of friends and tell his parents about the problem. If they were not interested, I asked him to go to the nearest church to talk to the priest.


The greatest benefit of discipline

  Although self-discipline is of great benefit to us during our earthly life, the greater benefit is the ability to adopt a humble attitude of life if the guidance to disciplined living is in accordance with the principles of the New Covenant. Then it provides the prerequisite for learning to know our heavenly Father and our Savior in the right light, that is, as ones who truly loves us.

  As the writer of the letter for Hebrews still beautifully teaches us, self-discipline is essential for us New Covenant believers to learn to know our Creator as Holy and to be able to participate in His holiness! The Apostle Paul first wrote about this in verses Hebr. 12:9-10

>>9 Besides, we have experienced discipline from our earthly fathers and we respected them; shall we not submit ourselves all the more to the Father of spirits and receive life? 10 For they disciplined us for a little while as seemed good to them, but he does so for our benefit, that we may share his holiness.<<

  We also read verses that reveal the greatest benefit of a life of holiness: Hebr. 12:11-14
>>11 Now all discipline seems painful at the time, not joyful. But later it produces the fruit of peace and righteousness for those trained by it. 12 Therefore, strengthen your listless hands and your weak knees, 13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but be healed. 14 Pursue peace with everyone, and holiness, for without it no one will see the Adonai.<< 


The benefits of a self-disciplined life for me

  I was given the grace to become interested in Christianity as a child and to become a believer. That had an impact on the paths of life that were presented to me. At the age of 15, I entered Oy Strömberg Ab's Mechanical Engineering School, which was a 4-year boarding school. There I learned the basics of a disciplined life in society and therefore, when I continued from there to HTOL (Helsinki Technical School), I did well.

  After that, military service in the army was otherwise easy, except that I had already adopted pacifism, i.e. an ideology completely opposed to war. Therefore, soon after the army, I announced to the Helsinki General Staff that if war breaks out and spreads to Finland, I will not participate in armed service due to my religious convictions. They called that my announcement was placed next to my papers folder.

  Believers in Adonai Yeshua must practice the struggle of faith daily and constantly. It includes as an inseparable part regular Bible reading, prayer, fasting if necessary and keeping in touch with other believers as well as promoting the spread of the Message of Salvation in the way that is possible for each one. Our Savior's mission command is still valid!

  I have been protected from many serious sins and misfortunes through the struggle of faith. In the early years of my religious life, I, like others, made many kinds of mistakes and 'excesses', but it is quite common for believers whose eyes are opened as a result of being born again to see a reality, which is invisible to natural eyes: That we are constantly in a spiritual war!

Reflections on Shabat, January 10, 2025



  We find several examples in the Bible of when it has been wisest for a person to flee immediately to save their life. In addition to Moses, they have included Jacob, David, Joseph + Mary + Yeshua and Paul. So did the believers in Yeshua the Mashiah just before the siege of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. Our Savior Yeshua Mashiach gave his disciples the following advice on this: Matt. 10:23
>>Whenever they persecute you in one place, flee to another. I tell you the truth, you will not finish going through all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.<< That was fulfilled in the lives of the disciples of that time and - as in some prophecies - it may be fulfilled again in the end times, when Israel first gains control of the cities that belong to it, including in Lebanon.


The world is a very dangerous place!

  It has always been that way for those who strive to practice righteousness and walk in the truth. In this end time, it is very dangerous for all believers in Adonai Yeshua, because the Devil considers us his greatest enemies on earth because we seek to free people from his slavery, the chains of sins and lies.

  Knowing this, we must be wise, careful and yet courageous in taking the Good News of Salvation to all the world. There are nations in the world that the Devil has entangled in the bonds of pagan religions, according to which Christians and other New Covenant saints who believe in Yeshua deserve death for their testimony.

  The history of Missionary work shows that many have lost their lives after proclaiming the Good News to people who were not mature enough to receive it. Nowadays, enough has been learned from mistakes that efforts are being made to train the inhabitants of each tribe, who know their culture and the best ways to reach their hearts with the message of salvation.

  The support of such converts is also considerably cheaper than sending missionaries accustomed to a high standard of living in their place, who must first learn the language and lifestyle of the tribe in question. In this case, decades of time are wasted and often the result is much weaker than if the message of salvation had been proclaimed by a member of the tribe itself.


What else should we flee from besides persecution?

  Recently, historically severe forest and grass fires have raged in California due to drought, and hurricanes with heavy rains and dangerous floods have caused destruction in other parts of the world. They have had to be escaped from as soon as possible. Although large and expensive villas and other property have burned down, staying alive is still more valuable!

  There is currently a record number of climate and war refugees on the move in the world, and their number is only growing. At the same time, European countries and the USA have begun to treat refugees much more hostilely than before and have tried to prevent them from entering their countries. It reminded me of the partly already fully fulfilled The Norwegian Woman's Prophecy (1968), published by Emanuel Minos.

  According to it, World War III will break out, as a result of which the USA, Japan, Australia and Europe will be contaminated by the fallout from nuclear weapons and people from them will try to move to southern countries, but because they themselves did not accept climate and war refugees, they will also be treated with hostility.   In addition, we must flee, that is, avoid all kinds of sin and the temptations of the spirit of the world. In the verse Ps. 119:9, we learn how a young man can keep his way pure. Lusts, seductions, and temptations do not disappear as a young man grows old, so that warning also applies to middle-aged and elderly people, men and women. We read in that verse:
>>How can a young person maintain a pure life? By guarding it according to your instructions!<<

  Paul also taught young Timothy about the same thing as follows: 2 Tim. 2:22
>>But keep away from youthful passions, and pursue righteousness, faithfulness, love, and peace, in company with others who call on the Adonai from a pure heart.<<

  We must also flee from congregations/churches that do not adhere to the original teachings of the apostles, but have changed and replaced them with doctrines invented by men! Acts 2:41-42
>>41 Those then who had accepted his word were baptised; and there were added in that day about three thousand souls. 42 And they persevered in the teaching and fellowship of the apostles, in breaking of bread and prayers.<<


We who support missionary work are also persecuted

  Anyone who has supported the evangelical missionary work with financial and prayerful determination in the places that the Holy Spirit has given them to do, has come to notice how surprising difficulties appear, through which the Devil seeks to stop prayers and financial support altogether or at least reduce both to a minimum.

  In these Western countries, it is still quite free to practice this noble task for the time being and at the same time be refreshed when we see the message of salvation succeeding despite all opposition! Therefore, we must devote ourselves even more to realizing, according to our possibilities, that all nations, tongues, peoples and tribes may hear the Good News!

 
The time for harvest is short and it is NOW!

  As Solomon says in the book of Ecclesiastes, all things in the world have their appointed time. Therefore, we must take heed of the right time, when man/people as individuals have matured to hear the Good Message of Salvation, understand its eternal value and accept it through faith into their hearts! History shows that certain times of revival have been set for nations and individs.

  Wars, famines, pandemics, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, etc. awaken the nations and their inhabitants sleeping in their sins to flee quicly and seek safety and true purpose for their lives, especially to think the eternity that lies and wait ahead all of us!  The many kinds of adversity that people face also seek to draw them into communion with their Creator.

Our Savior also urged us to lead people to the knowledge of the Truth: Luke 24:44-49

>>44 And He (Yeshua) said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you yet being with you, that must be fulfilled all the things having been written in the Law of Moses, and the Prophets, and the Psalms, concerning Me. 45 Then He opened up their mind to understand the Scriptures, 46 and said to them, So it is written, and so the Mashiach must suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day.*) Not found OT passage.

47 And repentance and remission of sins must be preached on His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. 48 And you are witnesses of these things. 49 And, behold, I send forth the promise**) of My Father on you. But you sit in the city of Jerusalem until you are clothed with power from on high.<< **) The Advocate, the Spirit of Truth.

Reflections on Shabat, January 3, 2025



The absolute truth is that as a result of the Fall, all of humanity
has been forced to live as slaves to sin. There is no exception to
this, even though humanists claim so. As a result of that original
 sin, we see pain, great deprivation, suffering, inequality, hatred,
and death all around us. But our Creator, Yehowah Elohim, who
loves the people, has sent His Son, born of a virgin, as a Savior
to atone our sins and free us from the slavery of all our sins. It is
freedom not to sin, if only we accept that gift in faith. It is a gift!


What has Yeshua Mashiach freed us from?

A. Original sin, the sins we have committed, their consequences and slavery. Rom. 6:22-23

B. Unbelief and self-reliance. John 16:7-11

C. The futility of our sinful way of life inherited from our ancestors. 1 Pet. 1:18-19

D. The chains of lies. The truth is that Yeshua brought breaks the chains of lies. John 8:35-36

E. To love all Christians as he loved his disciples. John 13:34, John 15:9, 12

F. To love even our persecutors and enemies. Matt. 5:44

G. The chains of culture. It's often a waste of time and can lead to deception. John 8:12 and Matt. 19:21

H. On the elements of the world and the forced observance of all kinds of ceremonial feasts. Gal. 4:3-5 / Col. 2:8-10, 16-17, 20-23

>>8 Be careful not to allow anyone to captivate you through an empty, deceitful philosophy that is according to human traditions and the elemental spirits (or the rudiments) of the world, and not according to Mashiach. 9 For in him all the fullness of deity lives in bodily form, 10 and you have been filled in him, who is the head over every ruler and authority.

16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you with respect to food or drink, or in the matter of a feast, new moon, or Shabat days - 17 these are only the shadow of the things to come, but the reality is Mashiach!

20 If you have died with Mashiach to the elemental spirits of the world (or universe), why do you submit to them as though you lived in the world? 21 "Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!" 22 These are all destined to perish with use, founded as they are on human commands and teachings. 23 Even though they have the appearance of wisdom with their self-imposed worship and false humility achieved by an unsparing treatment of the body - a wisdom with no true value - they in reality result in fleshly indulgence.<<

...Those are some of the most important points to mention.


Do we believe in the saving work of our Savior?

  Without faith in him, we would also be without a Creator and without hope in the world. Moreover, we would be on our way to eternal separation from him and to a place we would never want to go to and from which it is never possible to escape. This is Hell with all its horrors and where those who go there must spend all eternity in the company of the Devil and his fallen angels and the wicked.

  A healthy fear of Elohim is to consider that terrible possibility before our time of searching here on earth ends. It is foolish to start thinking about this only when we are old or on our deathbed and only then to start repenting, because at that point faith is most often no longer there at all. Faith gives birth to hope. Of course, it is better to ask for mercy from Yeshua even then than never.


How can we ensure our salvation?

  The only basis for our hope of salvation is to believe that our Savior Yeshua Mashiach has already completed the work of atonement and redemption for our souls on the cross of Golgotha. True faith also requires works of faith, for without works faith is dead. The first work of faith is to confess our sins and forsake them. The next step is to go to believers' baptism by immersion in the name of Yeshua HaMashiach. Mark 16:15-16.

  By reading the Bible and following its instructions and avoiding all kinds of sin like the plague. We receive additional help from regular prayer, which we can perform with understanding and in the Holy Spirit, praying in new tongues. We can also be filled with the Holy Spirit through the psalms and spiritual songs of the Bible, who brings the love of Elohim into our hearts.

  A local congregation, where the gifts of the Holy Spirit operate soberly, is a good place to grow in a healthy knowledge of our Savior and his will. Unfortunately, today the Devil has sown many different heresies that are so destructive that it is advisable to immediately leave all kind of congregations that have fallen into his power and pray for another place to take their place.

  Close contact with others who truly believe in the teachings of the Bible and its promises helps us in our struggle for faith. For some of us, it may be as long as 100 years, their life time. Let us work hard to spread the message of salvation in our country and, if possible, also support the work of spreading the message of salvation abroad! All need the Good News!

  It is very important to support poor believers in Yeshua the Mashiah in poor countries and disaster areas financially, because that is what we are called to do as Christians. Unfortunately, many Christians live in abundance, take expensive vacations to the south, and give only a little to charities. Don't they realize that the universal congregation includes all Christians in the world?


Let us beware of the temptations of the world!

  The same Devil who succeeded in making our first parents sin still lives on earth and, with the help of his legions of angels of darkness, he is trying to seduce modern people into numerous sins that are unique to this age. They are spread by TV, radio, the internet, pornographic videos and magazines, as well as filthy films that are full of violence. Matt. 18:7

  I have noticed how the songs containing vanity that I listened to on the radio as a child may start playing in my mind quite unexpectedly in the shower! Many songs have become embedded in people's subconscious and when the right moment comes, they come to mind, even though I no longer want to think about them. The same thing happens through bad films and videos. Let us avoid them!

  The Devil knows that he has only a short time to spend on earth before he is imprisoned spiritually for 1,000 years. That is why he is trying to destroy children and youth in the first place. Unfortunately, he has succeeded in this, as Western countries have abandoned Biblical values ​​even in elementary school. The value vacuum is filled by teaching about mixed sex, evolution, witchcraft, etc.
