Toistan kuvan Raamatun jakeet:
>>Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.<< Hebr. 13:3
Wars are increasing and becoming more brutal
Children are the ones who suffer the most in wars. I studied UNICEF's forecast for 2026 and it is a shocking read!
"Based on estimates for 2024-2025, approximately 259,000 children worldwide will be detained on any given day due to their involvement in the criminal justice system (detention centers, prisons and other detention facilities). UNICEF data 2026 (AI)
However, the total number of children deprived of liberty is significantly higher when including other contexts. Key figures regarding child detention include:
- Total Annual Detention: Estimates suggest over 1 million children are deprived of their liberty annually in various settings, including police custody, immigration detention, and juvenile justice facilities.
- Immigration Detention: At least 330,000 children per year are deprived of their liberty based on their or their parents' migration status.
- ETC."
In addition, children are beaten and raped in many prisons in dictatorial countries. They are treated more cruelly than animals for slaughter are allowed to be treated in civilized Western countries. They are even used as organ banks, that is, they are killed and certain body parts are removed from their bodies for transplants to others, for a high fee.
Prisoners of war are treated very cruelly
According to a social media post I read, thousands of protesters in Iran are being held in prisons where they are living in completely inhumane conditions. Some prisons have had guards escape and have left prisoners to starve in their locked cells without water or food! Prisoners are forced to lie around in the smell of their own excrement.
In Iran, people are being shot in their homes without any legal process, if there is even the slightest suspicion that they are opposing the current terrorist regime. Almost 10,000 Iranian protesters were punished by having one of their eyes gouged out. Depending on the source, around 30,000...80,000 protesters have been shot in the streets so far.
I read on social media how Russia had treated Ukrainian prisoners of war who were recently exchanged for Russian prisoners of war. They had been tortured in many ways, kept in a state of gnawing hunger, and some of them had their penises cut off.
In North Korea, Christians who have been exposed have been killed as a warning to the rest of the population by tying them up with ropes and laying them on their backs on the road. They have then been run over by a road roller.
Christians are most often tortured, mutilated, robbed, raped and killed in Nigeria because of their faith. Estimates are that 3,000...5,000 are killed annually for about 20 years, and the EU has been almost silent.
But we await the return of Adonai Yeshua
The Bible gives the clearest signs of His second coming through His own prophecies. They list several global events on earth and great signs in the sky. At the same time, Adonai Yeshua urges us to lift our heads toward heaven when those signs appear, for then the time of our deliverance is near! Let us read the verses Luke 21:25-28
>>25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh."<<

P.S. 2 I have also prepared these studies in Finnish. They consist of selected Bible translations and include various hymns:
