The empty Garden Tomb of our Savior. Right next to the so-called Gordon's Golgotha.

Let's reread the Bible verses in the picture

>>26 And as they were eating, Yeshua took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. 27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; 28 For this is my blood of the New Covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.<< Matt. 26:26-28 (Isaiah 53:2-7)

>>1 Elohim1 In time past YHWH spake unto the fathers by the prophets at many times and in divers manners: 2 In these last days he has spoken unto us by his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds *). 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.<< Hebr. 1:1-3 (Daniel 7:13-14, 18) *) Or/and 'the ages'

We also read verses Isaiah 53:2-7 and Daniel 7:13-14, 18

Isaiah 53:2-7
>>2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender sapling, and as a root out of dry ground: he hath no form nor lordliness, and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. 3 He is despised and left alone of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief, and like one from whom [men] hide their faces; — despised, and we esteemed him not.

4 Surely he hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; and we, we did regard him stricken, smitten of Elohim, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed.

6 All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own way; and Yehowah has laid upon him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, but he opened not his mouth. He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and was as a sheep dumb before her shearers, and he opened not his mouth.<<

Daniel 7:13-14, 18
>>
13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. 14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed... 18 But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever."<<

Let us wonder if we really see right?

When we look with the eyes of faith at our Savior as He was in the throes of death on the cross of Calvary, let us consider what we really see?

We see a shockingly battered, bruised, wounded, and bleeding man, only about 33 years old, whipped with a Roman whip. But is that all? It is not...

Let us step closer and look into His eyes. Do we see just the face of an ordinary man, or something unique? We get to look at the Creator of man, who does not condemn us, but whose face shines with boundless love and forgiveness! According to His own words, He existed before the world was and fell in love with the people he had created!

Let us consider why he was crucified?

He himself said that he came into the world of his own free will to fulfill the will of his Father. He knew in advance that he would have to suffer terribly while performing the atonement for our sins as a sinless and innocent sacrificial lamb, which no one else could do.

When he died on the cross, he took away the entire burden of the world's sins, yours and mine! He took them on his shoulders and took them with him to the depths of Hades. Just before he died on the cross, he said: "It is finished!" Then the curtain of the Temple was torn in two from top to bottom, the rocks were split and the bodies of many saints rose from their graves and appeared to many in Jerusalem!

He knew the fact that without his sacrifice, all of humanity would be lost because of their sins, to hell! But he loved us so much that he took the risk that if he failed, he would also be lost. Satan tried many times to make Adonai Yeshua fall into sin. But Adonai Yeshua fought a noble fight and was obedient in all things to the Holy Scriptures of the Tanakh! He fought such a fierce battle in Gethsemane with prayers that his sweat of anguish was like drops of blood falling to the ground.

Yeshua HaMashiach fought and won!

He, our Good Shepherd, achieved eternal victory over the enemy of our souls, Satan, when he died. He fought for us and won! He fought for you and me and won! As proof of this, he rose from the dead on the third day after his crucifixion and appeared to all his apostles in bodily form as a resurrected person. There were scars in his hands, feet and side that doubting Thomas could touch. And he ate the piece of fish in their sight. Before he ascended to heaven, he appeared once more to over 500 of his chosen ones.

A wonderful memory of Israel

In 1977, I was volunteering at Kibbutz Kiryat Anavim, Israel. After 2 months, I found myself in a situation where they tried to force me to do heavy physical work, even on the Sabbath. I refused, because I had already found out before going to the Kibbutz that I could spend the Sabbaths without working. I was promised at the Karmel Association office in Helsinki that I could spend the Shabats in Israel on rest days! The reason was that Israel is the only country in the world that celebrates the Shabat!

After refusing to work on the Shabat, I was interviewed by the kibbutz management. They asked me if I loved the Jews? I replied that of course, because otherwise I would not have come to work there. I told them that I loved their Elohim more than them and that I wanted to be obedient to Him and keep the Jewish Shabat on rest days, because He Himself had instructed me to do so. I had prayed to Him about it in the early 1970s and He taught me to keep the Jewish weekly Shabat.

The Kibbutz leadership decided to expel me from Israel as soon as possible. I became very sad in my heart, because my intention was to work in the Kibbutz for the whole year, but they decided to expel me after just over 2 months! I then went to my room and poured out my sorrow to Adonai Yeshua. He came to me and said the same words three times: I love you! Each time I felt such an immense love that I was afraid I would disintegrate into atoms. I told him: Enough already Adonai, I believe in you!

Reflections on shabat, March 27, 2026

Let's reread the Bible verses in the picture

>>Abram believed Yehowah, and Yehowah considered his response of faith as righteousness.<< Gen. 15:6

>>21 I (Daniel) beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; 22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.<< Dan. 7:21-22

>>
Who against hope believed in hope, that he (Abram) might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.<< Room. 4:18

>>Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Iyov, and have seen the end of Yehowah; that Yehowah is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.<< Yakov 5:11

Our topic today is patience

I think that developing this character trait takes at best several years and, depending on the ministry, even decades. We find many examples in the Bible of men who had to learn patience for a long time, often under the pressure of suffering and unbelief.

We can learn patience by being humiliated in front of people, even by having to suffer injustice as a result of lies and slander. Long-term illnesses and major failures in work and family life also sometimes push us to the limits of our endurance.

Moses is a good example of how long he had to learn patience. After fleeing Egypt from Pharaoh's court, his royal status experienced a sharp decline. He had to shepherd the sheep of the Midianite priest, Jethro, for 40 years. Sweat and heat taught patience.

Others were Noah, Abram, Elias, Daniel, Job and other prophets and all the apostles. We never learn patience from mere theoretical studies, but the Holy Spirit leads us many times into situations where only prayer can help us. It is a mercy that He does so. After all, we are being raised for heaven.

The case of Päivi Räsänen and Juhana Pohjola

I already knew that the long-time MP and minister of the Christian Democratic Party, Päivi Räsänen, and the Luther Foundation's bishop Juhana Pohjola would be sentenced to at least a fine by the Supreme Court of Finland (KKO), even though the Helsinki District Court (HelKO) and the Helsinki Court of Appeal (HelHO) had acquitted them.

If Päivi Räsänen, as she has said before, appeals the decision to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR in Finnish), it will still not change the decision already made by the Supreme Court of Finland in her case. She and Juhana Pohjola will have to pay the fines imposed on them and legal costs. The Finnish Luther Foundation was sentenced to a corporate fine of 5,000 euros for the publication of Päivi's Pamphlet.

I could have expected a possible sentence from the Supreme Court of Finland, because it is clearly morally degenerate and is not politically neutral. It has previously approved the Abortion Act, i.e. the murder of human embryos in the womb. It has approved laws that are against science, such as the fact that there can be well more than two genders and that a man can give birth. In addition, its approval includes the amendment to the Marriage Act and its consequences, the elections for Church offices and the current restrictions on religious freedom.

Summary of the decisions of the Supreme Court of Finland from a Christian perspective (according to AI):

"Criticism is often directed at the fact that the Supreme Court of Finland's decisions follow the secularization of society, whereby moral concepts based on the Bible or Christian tradition are marginalized. This is seen as a erosion of traditional Christian values in the legal system."

THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT IT IS, BECAUSE THE CASE OF PÅIVI RÄSÄNEN AND JUHANA POHJOLA CONFIRMS IT!

In Finland, there has been no legal action against, for example, the publicly stated position of Islamic imams, according to which, according to the Quran, homosexuals and lesbians should be executed under Sharia law! Instead, the current Speaker of the Parliament, Jussi Halla-aho, was fined for his direct quotes from the Quran, showing that they are against our Western sense of justice and in my opinion it was a clear violation of freedom of speech and religion towards him, as happened now also in the cases of Räsänen and Bishop Juhana Pohjola!

I was also humiliated several times

When I was unemployed, the Holy Spirit led me to work at my little brother's car paint shop in Sweden. He had only attended Swedish primary school, which is much worse than the Finnish equivalent. I had worked hard and achieved the profession of a mechanical construction technician, received further training at TTOL and worked in several professions from 1971-78.

While working at the car paint shop, I felt very humiliated and prayed for mercy from Adonai Yeshua. However, I was able to prove to my little brother that Adonai Yeshua speaks to the ears and can change life situations, even though all my own possibilities were exhausted. Adonai Yeshua then arranged for me a dream job in Finland in 1980 etc!

We, the New Covenant saints who believe in Adonai Yeshua, will be tested as long as we live here on earth, and the level of testing and its difficulty will only increase as we get older. We are studying at Calvary College! We should take this positively, because it will all work out for our best in the end!

Related: In my youth, I was tested especially in the areas of the flesh and ambition. In middle age, in the areas of the temptations of wealth. Now, at 77 years old, I am financially stable and outwardly everything is fine, but pains and illnesses plague me. Through them, I am being prepared for heaven!

The Apostle Paul's Teaching on Patience

The apostle Paul to the Gentiles suffered much for the name of Adonai Yeshua. He was persecuted by Israelites, Gentiles and fellow believers. He was beaten, whipped, and subjected to hunger and thirst. He was forced to fast and be exposed to cold while traveling on preaching tours.

He wrote that he was used to all kinds of conditions because of his preaching mission given by Adonai Yeshua. He was even stoned and fell into a stupor, but recovered from it. He was executed by the sword in Rome during the persecutions of Emperor Nero in 64-67 AD. He managed to teach about patience, for example, like this Rom. 5:1-5

>>1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with Elohim through our Adonai Yeshua HaMashiach: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of Elohim.

3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation workes patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

5 And hope makes not ashamed; because the love of Elohim is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given unto us.<<

Reflections on shabat, March 20, 2026

Let's review those Bible verses:

>>
12 The sleep of a labouring man is sweet, whether he eat little or much: but the abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep. 13 There is a sore evil which I have seen under the sun, namely, riches kept for the owners thereof to their hurt.<< hurt<< Preach. 5:12-13

27b ...and Elohim chose what the world thinks weak to shame the strong. 28 Elohim chose what is low and despised in the world, what is regarded as nothing, to set aside what is regarded as something, 29 so that no one can boast in his presence.<< 1. Cor. 1:27b-29

If a worker's stomach is almost empty, his sleep is unlikely to be sweet. But normally he sleeps sweeter than the rich, who are concerned about the preservation of their wealth even when they lie down.

Worldly wealth and spiritual wealth

Some Christians say that they can be rich both worldly and spiritually. For a few, it is possible. However, Adonai Yeshua taught that we must first give up everything and follow him if we want to be his disciples: Luke 14:33

>>
So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsakes not all that he has, he cannot be my disciple.<<

To all who have truly given up all their worldly possessions, Adonai Yeshua promised even 100 times what they have given up: Mark. 10:29-30

>>
29 Yeshua said, "I tell you the truth, there is no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for my sake and for the sake of the gospel 30 who will not receive in this age a hundred times as much - homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, fields, all with persecutions - and in the age to come, eternal life.<<

It is good to note that we are not allowed to call anyone our father, because our heavenly Father is more than enough for us. Furthermore Adonai Yeshua even forbade us from calling anyone our (spiritual or doctrinal) father here on earth.

I gave up everything again for Adonai Yeshua

It was 1978. I had spent a month in the summer in Koivukylä, Vantaa, seeking a closer connection with my Savior, praying and fasting. I lived in a student dormitory. When it was over, I was penniless, unemployed and homeless, but not hopeless. After praying, I found it in my heart to go and meet one of my brothers in faith, Rauno, in Korso, which was a little over 3 km away. He had previously asked me to visit him.

I walked there and he suggested that I move in with his family in a large mansion where there were empty rooms and I could live with them for free. He had rented it cheaply in Korso. I didn’t dare tell them that I couldn’t afford the moving expenses. My only belongings were a mattress, a bag of clothes, and a Bible. I also had an abandoned table and chair that I had found in the nearby woods. I needed them when reading the Bible.

It was Adonai’s guidance that just then, on the last day of that month, a friend of his came to him with a big van and Rauno suggested that the friend pick up my things for them. I agreed. When the goods had been taken there, I asked what I could pay. The brother said nothing, because the matter was clearly the Lord's leading.

I had once again given up all worldly possessions and had experienced that my journey was being watched from heaven. Proof of that was receiving that apartment for free in the magnificent Korso manor! I lived in its large living room, which had wonderful period furniture and valuable paintings on the walls.

Name insert

It is now about that which Name YHWH Elohim announced to Moses, after Moses asked: What I will tell the Israelites, who was He that sent me to Egypt? YHWH, being in the burning bush, announced him the name of the EHYED ASHER EHYED. In English it is pronounced Eh-yeh Ah-sher Eh-yeh. It is in Hebrewאֶהְיֶה אֲשֶׁר אֶהְיֶה . It is often translated as: I AM THAT I AM or I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BEExodus 3:14

That name touches on several other proper names of YHWH, especially all those that begin with the words I AM. Adonai Yeshua often used that name for himself, saying, for example, "I AM the Good Shepherd," "I AM the Light of the world," and "I AM the Aleph and Tav" (the First and the Last). According to David Wilkerson, our Heavenly Father really only has that one name, EHYED ASHER EHYED. His other names reflect only his character.

In Yeshua we find rest from our own works

When we follow Adonai Yeshua daily in this matter, we will find rest and peace in him. We will not find such rest in the world. He has promised to take care of all our earthly needs if we seek first the Kingdom of Elohim.

The search must be relentless, so that we truly find it! Furthermore, we are called to always seek the face of Yehowa. That is, day after day throughout our lives. What immense joy awaits us when we see him in heaven!

Finns were chosen as the happiest nation in the world for the 9th time in a row. This is largely due to the fact that we are modest by nature and are content with what we have, and do not always strive for everything that we do not have.

Reflections on shabat, March 13, 2026

Toistan kuvan Raamatun jakeet:

>>They*) shall come all for violence. Their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand.<< Hab. 1:9 *) Chaldeans

>>Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.<< Hebr. 13:3

Wars are increasing and becoming more brutal

Children are the ones who suffer the most in wars. I studied UNICEF's forecast for 2026 and it is a shocking read!

"
Based on estimates for 2024-2025, approximately 259,000 children worldwide will be detained on any given day due to their involvement in the criminal justice system (detention centers, prisons and other detention facilities). UNICEF data 2026 (AI)

However, the total number of children deprived of liberty is significantly higher when including other contexts. Key figures regarding child detention include:

- Total Annual Detention: Estimates suggest over 1 million children are deprived of their liberty annually in various settings, including police custody, immigration detention, and juvenile justice facilities.

- Immigration Detention: At least 330,000 children per year are deprived of their liberty based on their or their parents' migration status.

- ETC."

In addition, children are beaten and raped in many prisons in dictatorial countries. They are treated more cruelly than animals for slaughter are allowed to be treated in civilized Western countries. They are even used as organ banks, that is, they are killed and certain body parts are removed from their bodies for transplants to others, for a high fee.

Prisoners of war are treated very cruelly

According to a social media post I read, thousands of protesters in Iran are being held in prisons where they are living in completely inhumane conditions. Some prisons have had guards escape and have left prisoners to starve in their locked cells without water or food! Prisoners are forced to lie around in the smell of their own excrement.

In Iran, people are being shot in their homes without any legal process, if there is even the slightest suspicion that they are opposing the current terrorist regime. Almost 10,000 Iranian protesters were punished by having one of their eyes gouged out. Depending on the source, around 30,000...80,000 protesters have been shot in the streets so far.

I read on social media how Russia had treated Ukrainian prisoners of war who were recently exchanged for Russian prisoners of war. They had been tortured in many ways, kept in a state of gnawing hunger, and some of them had their penises cut off.

In North Korea, Christians who have been exposed have been killed as a warning to the rest of the population by tying them up with ropes and laying them on their backs on the road. They have then been run over by a road roller.

Christians are most often tortured, mutilated, robbed, raped and killed in Nigeria because of their faith. Estimates are that 3,000...5,000 are killed annually for about 20 years, and the EU has been almost silent.

But we await the return of Adonai Yeshua

The Bible gives the clearest signs of His second coming through His own prophecies. They list several global events on earth and great signs in the sky. At the same time, Adonai Yeshua urges us to lift our heads toward heaven when those signs appear, for then the time of our deliverance is near! Let us read the verses Luke 21:25-28

>>
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh."<<

Reflections on shabat, March 6, 2026

I will repeat the Bible verses in the picture:

>>
And the Yehowah thy Elohim will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your seed, to love the Yehowah your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your soul, that you may live.<< Deut. 30:6

>>He that has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.<< John 14:21

The Essence of the Message of Salvation

As a result of the Fall, all people, like Adam and Eve, are fleeing from their Creator and they fear Him because they know in their hearts that they have been expelled from Paradise and from communion with their Creator.

Since then, our Creator has searched the innermost parts of people and has sought to connect with our hearts. He knows that if people do not learn to know Him, they will not want to come to Him in heaven.

We people unfortunately flee from Him, who is the ONLY One who loves us and wants to teach us to know Him, to love Him and to experience His mercy, so that we can have eternal life in Him.

Happened on a hospital trip March 2, 2026

I had a CT scan at the Turku Surgical Hospital. It was a "CT Abdominal Computed Tomography", where slices of the patient's stomach are taken, where the image is formed using X-rays. I luckily survived 🤣

While waiting for my turn, I talked to an elderly female patient about the events of the last few days. We concluded that this world is a dangerous and evil place to live. I told her that the Rapture of believers is near.

After the woman left, an elderly man came out of the next door. His lungs were scanned. He said that he goes for tests once a year. I told him that I know a woman who was cured of incurable stomach cancer after praying.

I will receive an answer about the CT scan results in the next few days. I went for the test at the doctor's suggestion, due to my continuous weight loss of 2 kg/year over the past 5 years. I was already underweight before the weight loss.

Yeshua set a child's faith as an example for us

He taught, saying that unless we receive the Kingdom of Heaven like a little child, we will not enter it. The core of this is faith of the heart and childlike trust in the teachings of Adonai Yeshua! Luke 18:17

>>Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the Kingdom of Elohim as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.<<

We must therefore strive for the faith of a child without doubting the teachings of our Savior. Therefore, unbelief is a mortal sin, of which we must repent in order to enter our heavenly home after death! John 16:7-10

>>But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I am going away. For if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you, but if I go, I will send him to you.

8 And when he comes, he will prove the world wrong concerning sin and righteousness and judgment - 9 concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; 10 concerning righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will see me no longer;<<

Most adults lack the faith of a child because we have been deceived in so many ways by Satan’s lies. Blind faith in people is also unwise and sometimes very dangerous! How do we get the faith of a child that saves?

By asking for it in prayer, finding out the reason why Yeshua died, reading the Bible with a humble heart, and walking constantly in connection with Yeshua. Then faith is born, sprouts, grows, and bears fruit in salvation. Gen. 15:5-6

>>5 And He brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and He said unto him, So shall thy seed be. 6 And he believed in the Yehowah; and He counted it to him for righteousness.<<

Reflections on shabat, February 27, 2026

Let us repeat those very important Bible verses in the picture!

>>
Look unto me, and be you saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am Elohim, and there is none else.<< Isa. 45:22

>>8 For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of Elohim: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.<< Eph. 2:8-9

>>For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of Elohim is eternal life through Yeshua HaMashiach our Adonai.<< Rom. 6:23

The nations walk in the darkness

As a result of the Fall, all the nations of the world wander in spiritual darkness, not knowing where they are going. We read in the verse Isa. 60:2

>>
For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.<<

Promises of the coming of Light into the world

Yehowah has promised in the Tanakh (OT) and fulfilled his promise in the Brit Chadashah (NT) to send a light to all nations, a light for all people:

A) Tanakh: Isa. 42:6-7
>>
I the Yehowah have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; 7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.<<

B) Brit Chadashah: John 1:9-13
>>
9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power (or authority or right) to become the children of Elohim, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of Elohim.<<

What is that Name?

Let's read the original text acc. to Acts 4:9-12 without changing the original name.

>>
9 Jos If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole; 10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Yeshua HaMashiach HaNotzri, whom ye crucified, whom Elohim raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.<<

A Memory from the Kibbutz, year 1977

Since the workday ended at 2 p.m., I sometimes traveled by bus from Kibbutz Kiryat Anavim to Jerusalem to get a closer look at the Holy City. I left for the return trip only after the sun had set. It set quickly at around 6:30 p.m.

How could the bus driver not drive through the kibbutz! Fortunately, the alert Arabs shouted to the driver that a young man was going to the kibbutz. The driver stopped immediately after the fork in the road and I started walking along the right way, the sun already setting.

The distance was perhaps about 1.5 mi (3 km). There were no street lights, but fortunately the moonlight and the stars illuminated my way. I did remember that the night watchman of the kibbutz was unpredictable, as he had shot the kibbutz girls' watchdog one night because it annoyed him.

I thought he might think I was an Arab breaking into a kibbutz at night. So I sang English and Hebrew hymns of praise the whole way. A pack of wild dogs howled in the distance, accompanying my songs with devotion. Fortunately, the guard didn't shoot me.

Reflections on shabat, February 20, 2026

I repeat the Bible verses in the picture:

>>
14 Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her heart. 15 And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope... Hos. 2:14-15a

I have known your works; lo, I have set before you a door--opened, and no one is able to shut it, because you have a little power, and did keep my word, and did not deny my name.<<  Rev. 3:8

It is vital to choose the right door!

Each of us faces situations in our lives where we have a door or doors in front of us. Some have more doors and others only one. It is very important that we enter through the best door. Since we ourselves do not know our future or where each door will ultimately lead, it is invaluable to pray in the Holy Spirit in the name of Adonai Yeshua for our choice guided by Yehowah Elohim!

That door is sometimes a place of study, sometimes a place of work, and sometimes a place of residence. It can also be a spouse and a circle of friends. It is also important that the choice of a community of believers be led by the Most High! So many have unwittingly chosen a community in which they have been led astray and made a member of a different society or even a sect. Such people will not inherit the Kingdom of Elohim if they don't reject wrong company and sect!

If we realize at some point in our lives that we have chosen the wrong door, it is very important to stop and go back in time and choose a better door. I am not saying that you should divorce your spouse if you realize you have made the wrong choice. In that case, you should follow the apostolic instructions for the sake of possible children and stay in the marriage if the unbelieving spouse does not want a divorce and you should love him/her.

Examples of how to relate to doors

According to legend, a tombstone had this inscription: "Here rests a man who in his life pushed on doors marked 'Pull'."

In the New Testament, Adonai Yeshua taught us the right way to approach doors: Matt. 7:7-8

>>
7 "Ask and it will be given to you. Seek and you will find. Knock and the door will be opened for you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened."<<

Adonai Yeshua taught us additionally:

>>
7 So Yeshua said to them again, "I tell you the solemn truth, I am the door for the sheep. 8 All who came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them.

9 I am the door. If anyone enters through me, he will be saved, and will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come so that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.<< John 10:7-10

Since the only door to eternal life is open to us, let us enter through it!
