Reflections on Shabat! 10th Mars 2023

Introduction

Last Shabat, I studied a topic that I had already preliminarily focused on about 7 years ago. I found its notes in my archive as if by chance and felt in my spirit that it was time to focus on the subject more closely. So did I.

Other great signs in heaven

The topic in question still remained in my mind, and when I prayed for a new topic for this Shabat, verses 12:1-6 from the Book of Revelation came to mind as a complement to that topic.

>>1 A great sign was seen in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.

2 She was with child. She cried out in pain, laboring to give birth.

3 Another sign was seen in heaven. Behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven crowns.

4 His tail drew one third of the stars of the sky, and threw them to the earth. The dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child.

5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron. Her child was caught up to Elohim, and to his throne.

6 The woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by Elohim, that there they may nourish her one thousand two hundred sixty days.<<

This passage of the Bible is one of the most difficult to date, even approximately. Therefore, several different explanations have been given for it in recent years. Years have been given that have passed, and none of them have come to pass.

In the following, however, I will tell you the main features of how I understand the point, even though my understanding is lacking like all people's. May Adonai Yeshua help me in this study too! Amen!

Attached picture for the study:

In the picture on the left we see a constellation called Virgo, or the virgin, which in this context I call the woman referred to in Revelation chapter 12. In addition, we see the sun attached to her skirt and the Moon located at the level of her feet, as if under her feet. This sign in the starry sky partially fulfills the prophecy of Revelation 12:1-6 below.

I don't know if it is exactly the date 2026-10-13 that the said prophecy refers to. That could be a foreshadowing of that. That event is still ahead and many visible signs in our time tell us that the time is near. After some delay, it will certainly come true on earth as well.

However, the Rapture of the elect will only take place when the full number of those chosen for salvation of Gentile background have first entered the ark of salvation, Adonai Yeshua's flock of sheep.

Next we will go through Rev. 12:1-6

>>1 A great sign was seen in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.

- So the sign was visible in heaven, and not in space, as many mistakenly assume. I base it on the fact that the sign in verse 3 does not exist in space because it is said to have seven (7) heads, etc...

- However, it is possible, as in the case of the Star of Bethlehem, that also in space we will see the position of the Sun, the constellation 'Virgo' and the Moon as a sign of what is happening in heaven that is invisible to human eyes.

- The sun refers in this context to the anointing of the Holy Spirit, i.e. the Spirit of Adonai Yeshua, because in the NT there is an exhortation: (Rom. 13:14) "...put on Adonai Yeshua HaMashiach..." and (Eph. 5:18) "Be filled with the Spirit!"

- The moon under the woman's feet signifies the woman's complete liberation from the requirements of the Law of Moses regarding justification, and passing under the Law of the Spirit of Life in HaMashiach Yeshua. (Rom. 8:1-4) It's about moving from the Old Covenant to the New Covenant.

- So the Law of Moses has led the chosen ones to salvation to the communion of their Savior, Adonai Yeshua, and these chosen ones of the Most High include people from Israel and other nations.

- This is not about rejecting the Law of Moses and the Writings of the Prophets! The 10 Commandments are still valid and must of course be taught in the congregations of Adonai Yeshua's followers, as he taught in verses Matt. 5:17-20.

- The Apostle Paul said about the glory of the Law of Moses compared to the glory of the New Covenant: "For that which formerly had glory is next to this without glory, because of this exceeding glory." (2 Cor. 3:10)

- The twelve (12) stars as a wreath on the woman's head refer to the early apostolic teachings that we, guided by the Holy Spirit, have received from the apostles chosen by Adonai Yeshua at the beginning, to whom he gave the mission command. He specifically chose Paul to be the apostle to the Gentiles. He was the 12th chosen one.

>>2 She was with child. She cried out in pain, laboring to give birth.

- Here it is told how extremely difficult it will be to guide the chosen ones of the Most High from the darkness and the power of sin to the miraculous light of Adonai Yeshua in the time of the end, when Satan and his angels will do everything to prevent it!

- I believe we are currently living in just such a time. I justify it by the fact that the sign in Rev. 12:3 is already clearly taking shape among the nations.

>>3 Another sign was seen in heaven. Behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven crowns.

- As I mentioned above in connection with Rev. 12:1, we do not see such a sign in space, but we already see its effect and consequence on earth, among the nations. The color of the dragon refers to its bloodlust.

- The seven heads represent its deceitful wisdom, the ten horns the great power of lies, and the seven crowns on the heads represent the royal power originating in darkness.

- The dragon will take two different forms on earth in different eras according to Rev. 13:1-10: first as Beast No 1 rising from the sea (during chaos) and then as Beast No 2 rising from the earth (during apparent peace). They are described in Rev. 13:11-18. We will not examine them further in this context.

>>4 His tail drew one third of the stars of the sky, and threw them to the earth. The dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child.

- The third part of the stars of the sky means the fallen angels of Satan, which are mentioned in the verse Rev. 12:9 (Read in the attached picture). The Dragon himself also came to earth with the intention of destroying all the saints of the New Covenant born of a woman as soon as they have been born again from above and filled with the Holy Spirit.

- I know this from my own experience, because when I was first filled with the Holy Spirit on August 31, 1972 at 9 pm, Satan tried to force me to curse the Holy Spirit the very next day! My spirit's ears were opened and I heard how he screamed and raged at my workplace. No one was around, but I heard him raging right in front of me.

- I prayed for help from the Holy Spirit and he helped me, caught Satan and quickly threw him far away from me. I heard how Satan, even when he was cast out, continued to repeat the words "Curse the Holy Spirit, etc.," until he was so far away that his voice could no longer be heard. It was a terrible experience!

>>5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron. Her child was caught up to Elohim, and to his throne.

- This is not about Adonai Yeshua, because he was not taken to Elohim immediately after his birth. He performed the work of redemption for us on earth as a sacrificial lamb, died on Calvary's cross, descended into Hades, rose from the dead on the 3rd day, and received all authority in heaven and on earth.

- It is about the Chosen of the Most High according to the words of Adonai Yeshua: Rev. 2:26-28, "26 And to him who overcomes and keeps my works until the end, to him will I give power to rule over the Gentiles, 27 and he will rule over them with an iron rod, like earthen vessels they will be broken - just as I also received that authority from my Father - 28 and I will give him the Morning star."

- The Israeli saints of the new covenant are mentioned separately: Luke 22:30 "...you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones and judge the twelve tribes of Israel."

- I believe that at the very end, so-called Rapture of the 'wise brides/virgins' will take a place, before the Dragon and his angels are cast down from heaven to earth. Only those chosen by the Most High will be taken up to Elohim's presence, those who are ready for it. The others stay here on earth.

>>6 The woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by Elohim, that there they may nourish her one thousand two hundred sixty days.<< So 42 months or 3.5 years.

- The woman means the universal congregations of Adonai Yeshua on earth, whose members were not ready for rapture. They were the so-called
'foolish bridesmaids/virgins' who had no oil in their vessels. It means: They did not have the anointing of the Holy Spirit. They exercised their faith only 'with the anointing of others'.

- There is a more detailed description of this in the verses Matt. 25:1-13

>>1 “Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. 3 Those who were foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them, 4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

5 Now while the bridegroom delayed, they all slumbered and slept.
6 But at midnight there was a cry, ‘Behold! The bridegroom is coming! Come out to meet him!’ 7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’

9 But the wise answered, saying, ‘What if there isn’t enough for us and you? You go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’
10 While they went away to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut.

11 Afterward the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Adonai, Adonai, open to us.’
12 But he answered, ‘Most assuredly I tell you, I don’t know you.’ 13 Watch therefore, for you don’t know the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.<<

- Regarding the woman who gives birth to a 'boy child' - here the woman also means the people of Israel - she is not rejected, however. She is guarded and fed for 42 months in a hiding place on earth, during which time the Dragon is allowed to control all other people on earth through his Beast system. Then the number of martyrs will be fulfilled. Many of the martyrs are those stupid bridesmaids/virgins.

- It seems that the Rapture of the chosen ones to Elohim already takes place 42 months or 3.5 years before the Dragon is thrown from heaven to earth. This is because Jewish weddings used to last a whole week in ancient times, which in prophecy means a period of 7 years, counting a day as a year.

Finally, I repeat the plea of Adonai Yeshua:

"Watch therefore, for you don’t know the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming!"
