Since we will all have to answer before the Messiah's throne
at the Last Judgment for the deeds we have done on earth,
it is really necessary to accept before that the salvation offered
by Adonai Yeshua as a gift while we live here on earth.
Beyond the boundary of time, it is no longer possible.

What is the use of self-discipline?
It is the only way to spiritual wisdom and peace of mind. By practicing it, we completely avoid many falls, wrong choices and accidents. Then Adonai doesn't need to discipline us so much, because he doesn't like to punish any of his creatures, but waits patiently for us to choose the best way to live and walk the best path for us and our neighbors. He will be happy if we choose the right path on our own initiative! Micah 6:8
"He has told you, O man, what is good, and what Yehowah really wants from you: He wants you to promote justice, to be faithful, and to live obediently before your Elohim."

What is the benefit of discipline in general?
If it is done from a real subject and performed in a spirit of love and meekness and moderation, it will give us a humble mind. A humble mind is necessary in order to learn more spiritual secrets and to be worthy of our Creator as his friends and co-workers.
Many of the people in the Bible have had to go through a hard school to learn that there is nothing good in themselves, but by cooperating with Adonai and relying on him alone, everything difficult has been possible!
In the same way, Adonai also raises us through many trials and difficulties to trust him alone in everything and his limitless possibilities and love to help us out of all difficult situations where self-help and human help are insufficient. The following promise is fulfilled only for those who are humble and walk in the company of Adonai: Ps. 121:1-3
"1 A song of ascents. I look up toward the hills. From where does my help come? 2 My help comes from Adonai, the Creator of heaven and earth! 3 May he not allow your foot to slip! May your protector not sleep!"
The apostle Paul wrote extensively on the subject based on his own experience, and not in vain, because the Israelites and Gentiles are by nature quite stubborn, self-righteous and undisciplined, unless they receive instruction and guidance on the right way of life already in their youth and repeatedly when the need arises. Hebr. 12:7-9
"7 Endure your suffering as discipline; Yehowah is treating you as sons. For what son is there that a father does not discipline? 8 But if you do not experience discipline, something all sons have shared in, then you are illegitimate and are not sons.
9 Besides, we have experienced discipline from our earthly fathers and we respected them; shall we not submit ourselves all the more to the Father of spirits and receive life?"
How do we learn more discipline?
Practice makes perfect. Just as an athlete must practice self-control and take care of his muscle condition, we must read the Bible diligently, think about its message and try to apply it in practice. The most difficult thing is to learn to love our Creator above all else, because his thoughts often conflict with our own thoughts. Therefore, we should reject our own thoughts if they conflict with the thoughts of our Creator and choose his thoughts instead. Later we will see how wisely we did.
Loving your neighbour ones also often causes gray hair, especially if it is a capricious, selfish, unpredictable and unreliable person. However, it is precisely those who need understanding and loving friends the most.
I especially love the Tanakh's Proverbs and its chapter 8. Sometimes when I was young I memorized it completely. I will now quote several selected verses from it related to the topic:
"4 "To you, O people, I call out, and my voice calls to all mankind. 5 You who are naive, discern wisdom! And you fools, understand discernment! 6 Listen, for I will speak excellent things, and my lips will utter what is right. 7 For my mouth speaks truth, and my lips hate wickedness...
10 Receive my instruction rather than silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold. 11 For wisdom is better than rubies, and desirable things cannot be compared to her. 12 "I, wisdom, live with prudence, and I find knowledge and discretion. 13 The fear of Yehowah is to hate evil; I hate arrogant pride and the evil way and perverse utterances...
20 I walk in the path of righteousness, in the pathway of justice, 21 that I may cause those who love me to inherit wealth, and that I may fill their treasuries. 22 Yehowah created me as the beginning of his works, before his deeds of long ago. 23 From eternity I was appointed, from the beginning, from before the world existed...
33 Listen to my instruction so that you may be wise, and do not neglect it. 34 Blessed is the one who listens to me, watching at my doors day by day, waiting beside my doorway. 35 For the one who finds me finds life and receives favor from Yehowah. 36 But the one who does not find me brings harm to himself; all who hate me love death."

A dream of Great destruction, seen 14.6.2024
I had a prophetic dream last night where I was looking at the landscape from a height and could see far into the horizon. Suddenly a tremendous heat started approaching and I saw a thick smoke rising and the whole surface of the earth was boiling from the effect of heat! I cried out, "Yeshua HaMashiach, help me!" That's when I woke up and was glad that it was just a dream! Phew! It reminded me of two Bible passages:
Isaiah 24:5-6
"5 The earth is defiled by its inhabitants, for they have violated laws, disregarded the regulation, and broken the permanent treaty. 6 Therefore has the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left."
2 Peter 3:10-12
"10 But the day of Yehowah will come like a thief; when it comes, the heavens will disappear with a horrific noise, and the celestial bodies will melt away in a blaze, and the earth and every deed done on it will be laid bare. 11 Since all these things are to melt away in this manner, what sort of people must we be, conducting our lives in holiness and godliness, 12 while waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of Yehowah? Because of this day, the heavens will be burned up and dissolve, and the celestial bodies will melt away in a blaze!"
