Jeremiah had a harsh prophecy for Israel who had broken the Law of Moses. Gentile nations who rejected the gospel will not be spared the same judgment!
We are already living in a time of judgments
The peoples of the world have been faced with many kinds of natural disasters and, in addition, many peoples have been faced with the misery brought by war. Their result is famine and other suffering more than we who live in peace can even comprehend!
We, the chosen ones of the New Covenant, have been called to sanctify ourselves and help in many different ways the people struggling on the borders of life and death in different corners of the world, who lack even the most necessary in order to be nourished and live.
Let's put our hand on our heart and think, do we really love those people living in misery? If we really love them, then we can't only live without helping them in many different ways according to our ability. True love also affects and leads always acts of love!

According to the NT, Yehowah has decreed that there is a certain upper limit to the number of martyrs, which he will not allow the Devil to exceed. It may be that the upper limit is already very close. When it starts to get close to it, the events of the end times will happen quickly. I understand that when the Devil and his allies reach that limit, his and his allies' eternal fate is once and for all sealed. Hell will be their final destination.

The Devil is on the prowl all over the world because he knows he only has a short time to torment, persecute and kill people. As a result, extremist Muslims in Nigeria have killed a Christian every two hours! More than half of all Christian martyrs in the world will be martyrs there, which in 2023 totaled more than 5,000. About 4,400 of them were killed in Nigeria alone!
I have considered Nigeria a special object of prayer for about 10 years now and I urge you also to make the Christians in the central and northern parts of Nigeria a special object of prayer and financial assistance. Pray especially that the extremist Islamist terrorist organization called Boko Haram operating there will be put behind bars! Your help will save many innocent and poor Nigerian Christians!

Our ability to help is limited
That's why we should carefully consider the aid targets and pray for help and guidance from the Holy Spirit in choosing them. There are fraudulent organizations through which donations can go only partly or not at all to the promised destinations.
I myself have chosen such persons and aid organizations that I have found over the decades to be primarily active in the work of proclaiming the message of Salvation and, if possible, also in various social aid projects, such as orphanage work, etc.
It is at least as important to pray for the individual people and organizations that the Holy Spirit has led to be mediators of financial support. They often find themselves in very difficult situations in many mission fields where bribery is rampant.
Let's be enthusiastic in aid work!
Although we are not always 'on the same wavelength' with our mind and thoughts about aid work, enthusiasm and cheerfulness bring more content to life! It is wise to think that if we ourselves were in real need of help, we would be happy for the help!
The apostle Paul often exhorted those who believe in Yeshua to rise to a higher spiritual level, and he was absolutely right in that too. We must open our hearts to the knowledge that we are co-workers with Elohim! Paul wrote, for example, like this:
- 1 Cor. 3:9 >>We are coworkers belonging to Elohim. You are Elohim's field, Elohim's building.<< Even if you are humanly like me 'a lone worker in Elohim's cornfield', we still have Elohim Himself as our co-worker!- 2 Cor. 9:7 >>Each one of you should give just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, because Elohim loves a cheerful giver.<< If someone's heart does not demand to give anything, then it is urgent to examine the heart to see if the person has faith at all!
- 1 Cor. 15:58 >>So then, dear brothers and sisters, be firm. Do not be moved! Always be outstanding in the work of Yehowah, knowing that your labor is not in vain in Yehowah.<< From experience, I know that the Devil tries in many different ways to prevent our work of helping and praying with his many kinds of cruel tricks. This is spiritual warfare targeting all which are working hard to help the people who have no salvation!
We are getting closer to home every day!
I am greatly blessed by the 'heavenly songs' that have a good message about our eternal home, where we are on our way! Adonai Yeshua intended them to refresh us and lift our spirits from the bottom of the earth to the heights of the glory of heaven!
Our final destination and home is in the eternal Jerusalem of heaven, whose streets are pure gold and where there is no shortage of all good imaginable, but the city is lacking everything that could brings pain, fear and suffering!
The New Jerusalem is prophesied in the OT and especially precisely in the NT. It is the eternal hometown of all those chosen for salvation. Its splendor cannot be compared to any disappearing city of the world! I quote one points from each:
- Isaiah 54:10-13 >>10 Even if the mountains are removed and the hills displaced, my devotion will not be removed from you, nor will my covenant of friendship be displaced," says Yehowah, the one who has compassion on you. 11 "O afflicted one, driven away, and unconsoled! Look, I am about to set your stones in antimony and I lay your foundation with lapis-lazuli.
- Rev. 21:1-4, 19-23 >>1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and earth had ceased to exist, and the sea existed no more. 2 And I saw the holy city - the new Jerusalem - descending out of heaven from Elohim, made ready like a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying: "Look! The residence of Elohim is among human beings. He will live among them, and they will be his people, and Elohim himself will be with them. 4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will not exist any more - or mourning, or crying, or pain, for the former things have ceased to exist."

The first foundation is jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth onyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.
21 And the twelve gates are twelve pearls - each one of the gates is made from just one pearl! The main street of the city is pure gold, like transparent glass. 22 Now I saw no temple in the city, because Yehowah - the All-Powerful - and the Lamb are its temple.
23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of Yehowah lights it up, and its lamp is the Lamb.<<
